Estimate Kernel Ridge Regression Function in Multiple Regression

In general, researchers and statisticians in particular have been usually used non-parametric regression models when the parametric methods failed to fulfillment their aim to analyze the models  precisely. In this case the parametic methods are useless so they turn to non-parametric methods for its easiness in programming. Non-parametric methods can also used to assume the parametric regression model for subsequent use. Moreover, as an advantage of using non-parametric methods is to solve the problem of Multi-Colinearity between explanatory variables combined with nonlinear data. This problem can be solved by using kernel ridge regression which depend on what so-called bandwidth estimation (smoothing parameters). Therefore, for this purpose two different methods were used to estimate the smoothing parameter (Maximum Likelihood Cross-Validation (MLCV) and Akaike Information Criterion (AIC)). Furthermore, a comparision between the previouse methods had been provided using simulation technique , and the method of  Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) has been  found to be the best for the Gaussian function .

Wettability, Thermal Stability, and Antibacterial Properties of Polycaprolactone /ZnO Nanocomposites in Packaging

Polycaprolactone is one of the natural biodegradable polymers mainly used in bioplastics production for packaging, usually composed of non-toxic compounds and biodegradable. The aim was to examine the role of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanopowder on the, wettability , thermal and anti-bacterial effect nanocomposites.  Pure PCL and PCL-based bio- nanocomposites doped with various ratios of ZnO nanoparticles from 0% to 5wt% were prepared through the arrangement of throwing procedure.  The results show that wettability properties in relation to ideal PCL and that they were increasingly hydrophobic from 57º.8 to 69º.53 because add ZnO  nanocomposites, the thermal stability between 300 and 400 ° C makes them perfect for the application

Jejunoileal Atresia A study of 60 cases in children welfare teaching hospital.

Background: Congenital defects in continuity of the intestine are morphologically divided into either stenosis or atresia and constitute one of the most common causes of neonatal intestinal obstruction.
Patients and methods: This is a prospective study for analyzing (60)neonates with jejunoileal atresia who were managed at Children Welfare Teaching Hospital in Baghdad over a three years peroid extending from 1st January 2004 to 1st January 2007.
Results: Thirty six patients (60%) had jejunal atresia while ileal atresia was in(24) patients(40%).The most common type of jejunoileal atresia was type IIIa (38.3%) of the cases and the second was the type II (25%).The clinical presentation for jejunal atresi

A kinetic Study of the Rate Reaction of Alkaline Phosphatase in Tuberculosis

Serum alkaline phosphatase activity has been investigated in three major types of tuberculosis (TB). These were Extra pulmonary primary, Acute miliary, and Primary tuberculosis. Activities were found elevated in these cases studied at basic PH and 37 C. The study concentrated an a comprehensive determination of the rate reaction kinetics of the enzyme reaction in both normal and TB sera. The pseudo first — order plot reflects both values of the first — order association constant (K I) and the half life time (t1/2) of the enzymatic reaction. The activation energy of the reaction (ES-complex formation) with Hill coefficient (n) were both estimated using Arrhenius and Hill plots respectively.

Synthesis of Zirconia Nanoparticles in Distilled Water Solution by Laser Ablation Technique

Pulsed laser ablation in liquid (PLAL) has become an increasingly important technique for metals production and metal oxides nanoparticles (NPs) and others. This technique has its many advantages compared with other conventional techniques (physical and chemical). This work was devoted for production of zirconia (ZrO2) nanoparticles via PLAL technique from a solid zirconium target immersed in a wet environment in order to study the effect of this environment on the optical properties and structure of ZrO2 nanoparticles. The solutions which used for this purpose is distilled water (D.W). The produces NPs were characterized by mean of many tests such as UV-visible (UV-Vis.), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and Z-Potential. The UV-Vis.

Energy generation by crystalline silicon photovoltaic network per meter square in Iraq

<span lang="EN-US">Iraqi people have been without energy for nearly two decades, even though their geographic position provides a high intensity of radiation appropriate for the construction of solar plants capable of producing significant quantities of electricity. Also, the annual sunny hours in Iraq are between 3,600 to 4,300 hours which makes it perfect to use the photovoltaics arrays to generate electricity with very high efficiency compared to many countries, especially in Europe. This paper shows the amount of electric energy generated by the meter square of crystalline silicon in the photovoltaic (PV) array that already installed in 18 states in Iraq for each month of the year. The results of the meter-square of PV arr

The productive partnership in development communication is an effective strategy for change

This study can be considered as un introduction to the idioms and the strategy about the productive partnership development connection, that helps the researcher and the organization in their work in to activate development and the natural sources, manegment,to improve the two sides active connected to the local society, and to use it as easier and smoother participation of the people who work in development field and the natural sources management research, That connection depends mostly upon the capability of researcher and the development worker to increase the ability of individual and local society to specify and analyzing their problems and to try solutions to make their life better with good income.

Phytoplankton Diversity and Pollution Index in North Part of Euphrates River, Iraq

This study covered approximately 150 km from the northern part of the Euphrates River in Iraq. Water and phytoplankton samples were monthly collected from six selected stations from April 2013 to March 2014; three stations were distributed within Hadithah Reservoir, while the three others were in the river's inflow. Water physical and chemical parameters and the phytoplankton community structure were analyzed. The most important results of this study were the diagnoses of 355 phytoplankton species belong to eight phylums. Algal class Bacillariophyceae which belong to phylum Ochrophyta was the most qualitative and quantitative dominant in all stations over the study period. The stations within the reservoir were characterized by higher nu

A Characterization of Soft Semi Separation Axioms in Soft Quad Topological Spaces

Our main interest in this study is to look for soft semi separations axioms in soft quad topological spaces. We talk over and focus our attention on soft semi separation axioms in soft quad topological spaces with respect to ordinary points and soft points. Moreover study the inherited characteristics at different angles with respect to ordinary points and soft points. Some of their central properties in soft quad topological spaces are also brought under examination.

Study the Effect of the Homemade Nitrogen Laser System in Medical Field

A high power N2 laser of the three stage-Blumlein circuit designed, which consist two identical electrodes, four capacitors and three spark gaps which designed discharge geometry with minimum inductance. This system gives a maximum energy 18 mJ with a pulse time 6.65 ns and wave length 337.1 nm. The distance between spark gap terminals has large effect on the output energy. The ideal distance were 11 mm between the terminals for the first spark gap and 4 mm between the terminals for the second spark gap, the distance between the terminals of the spark gaps has a significant effect on the resulting energy, where the energy decreases when the distance between the terminals of the first and second s

Adsorption of Methyl Green Dye onto Bamboo in Batch and Continuous System

Adsorption techniques are widely used to remove certain classes of pollutants from waters, especially those that are not easily biodegradable. Dyes represent one of the problematic groups. The removal of methyl green from waste water using bamboo was studied in batch and continuous system. In batch system equilibrium time and adsorption isotherm was studied at different concentrations (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 ppm) and 50 mg weight of adsorbent.
Langmuir and Freundlich equations were applied for adsorption isotherm data. Langmiur equation was fitted better than Freundlich equation (R2=0.984 for Langmuir equation). The maximum percentage dye removal obtained 79.4% and adsorption capacity was 15.5 mg/g. For continuous system the breakthr
