objective of this research is to identify some of the obstacles that face secondary school teachers of the Arabic language courses in using modern teaching methods in class.

The research focuses on secondary school teachers of the Arabic language courses at the central region of Nineveh Governorate for the school year (2008-2009). 30 teachers out of 792, were randomly chosen to apply the research tool upon.

Background: Pilonidal sinus is a recurrence pathology that affects the gluteal area, cleft part of it.  It affects many parts but mainly the sacral area and may present with various forms; from the asymptomatic cyst to severe infection in a form of painful abscess or sinus. The treatment of pilonidal sinus ranges from observation with good hygiene to excision of the sinus left wide incision. Recurrence may follow the excisional procedure and may need more operations. The analysis of Iraqi light oil (light naphtha) by capillary gas chromatography- mass spectrometry (GC-MS) was performed by the injection of whole naphtha sample without use of solvents. Qualitative analysis and the identification of the hydrocarbon constituents of light naphtha was performed and comparison had been done with American light oil (light naphtha).
