The Impact of Exchange Rate Fluctuations on the Behavior of the Stock Markets in the Turkish Economy
...Show More Authors

A discussion about the repercussions of the exchange rate on the behavior of stock markets became one of the basic principles of financial economics. The Istanbul Stock Exchange , considered  one of the fastest financial markets growing in the region, driven by solid economic activity, for a diversified economy  which classified as one of the the fastest growing economies in the world. However, the aforementioned market witnessed sharp fluctuations in the past few months, coinciding with the continuous fluctuations in the exchange rate of the Turkish lira, posing a serious challenge to the economic and investment environment in a country where the volume of trade, tourism and investment serves as a locomotive for economic growth. This research adopted statistical methods in modern measuring economic relations, using the methodology Johansen integration and Granger causality, to study the nature and direction of the dynamic relationship between the exchange market and the stock market in Turkish economy for the period( 2000 - 2012), in order to take actions and measures necessary to reduce the deterioration and volatility Continuous in Turkey Stock Exchange performance of securities on the one hand, and the relative stability in the exchange rate movement of the Turkish lira on the other. The results of the assessment revealed the presence of a statistically significant relationship between the exchange rate of the Turkish lira and the stock price index during the study period. As Granger test pointed out that the causal relationship is heading from exchange rates to stock prices.

The effect of volume fraction on the fatigue strength of unsaturated polyester / glass fiber composite
...Show More Authors

In this work polymeric composites were done from unsaturated polyester as a matrix reinforced with glass fiber type (E-glass) with two different volume fraction 20% & 40%. Fatigue tests showed that the number of fatigue cycles to failure limit for samples reinforced with uniform (woven Roving 0-90°) E-glass fiber and random (continuous fibers) with volume fraction 40% more than that for the same samples with volume fraction 20%. Also the fatigue results showed that the uniform samples failed with fatigue cycles more than that of random.

Investigating the effect of nanomaterials on the Marshall properties and durability of warm mix asphalt
...Show More Authors

This research aims to investigate the effect of four types of nanomaterial on the Marshall properties and durability of warm mix asphalt (WMA). These types are; nano silica(NS), nano carbonate calcium (NCC), nano clay(NC), and nanoplatelets (NP). For each type of Nanomaterial, three contents are tried as following; NS(1%, 3%, and 5%), NCC(2%, 4%, and 6%), NC(3%, 5%, and 7%), and NP (2%, 4%, and 6%) by weight of asphalt cement. Following Marhsall mix design method, the optimum asphalt cement content is determined, thereafter the optimum dosage for each nanomaterial is obtained based on the highest Marshall stability value. The durability of the control mix (no nanomaterial) and modified mixtures have been compared based on moisture damage, r

Study the Effect of Cyperus Rotundus Extracted as Mouthwash on the Corrosion of Dental Amalgam
...Show More Authors

Many extracted material were used as mouthwash to settle different kinds of oral fungi and bacteria. In this study an extractive of Cyperus rotundus plant E.C.R. which is very active as a mouthwash, was used in concentration range (10-25) ppm in artificial saliva at pH=6.4 and temperature range (288-318) K, to study it’s inhibitory effect on the corrosion of dental amalgam. Potentiostatic and cyclic polarization were used to follow this study. The presence of E.C.R. lead to shift the corrosion potential to the active direction and decreased the corrosion rate to about 98.87%, the inhibition action of E.C.R. resulting from the adsorption of C.R.E. layer between amalgam and saliva as FTIR spectrums shows, where the variety of FTIR adsorptio

The role of antibiotics and probiotics supplements on the stability of gut flora bacteria interactions
...Show More Authors

Dyspepsia is a significant public health issue that affects the entire world population. In this work, we formulate and analyze a deterministic model for the population dynamics of Gut bacteria in the presence of antibiotics and Probiotic supplements. All the possible equilibria and their local stability are obtained. The global stability around the positive equilibrium point is established. Numerical simulations back up our analytical findings and show the temporal dynamics of gut microorganisms.

Study the Effect of thickness on the Optical Properties Performance of active polymeric laser media
...Show More Authors

The paper include study the effect thickness of the polymeric sample which is manufactured by thermo press way. The sample was used as an active tunable R6G laser media. The remarks show that, when the thickness of the samples is increased, with the same concentration, the spectrum will shift towards the short wavelength, & the quantum fluorescence yield will increased. The best result we obtained for the quantum fluorescence yield is (0.68) at the sample, with thickness (0.304mm) in Ethanol solvent, while when we used the Pure Water as a solvent, we found that the best quantum fluorescence yield is (0.63) at (0.18mm) thickness of the sample.

Experimental Study of the Influence of Nanoparticles Additive to Diesel Fuel on the Emission Characteristics
...Show More Authors

The present experimental work is conducted to examine the influence of adding Alumina (Al2O3) nanoparticles and Titanium oxide (TiO2) nanoparticles each alone to diesel fuel on the characteristic of the emissions. The size of both Alumina and Titanium oxide nanoparticles which have been added to diesel fuel to obtain nano-fuel is about 20 nm and 25 nm respectively. Three doses of (Al2O3) and (TiO2) were prepared (25, 50, and 100) ppm. The nanoparticles mixed with gas oil fuel by mechanical homogenous (manual electrical mixer) and ultrasonic processor. The study reveals that the adding of Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and Titanium oxide (TiO2) to g
