The research in the role of variables contact for non-state actors have become more influential in the current of contemporary events, that related with the reality of seeking services and providing all of that in favor of maintaining the social peace, and ensuring its empowerment in order to make peace and stability outcomes as a real fact inside of our Arab societies. Especially, since it had been begun to oscillate between the concentration in pre-civil societies or do the best for working to leave the values and traditions of the non-modern societies, despite of the latter began to be effect on the structure of the internal component's system of its formation, so that the indicators of the hybrid societies come within the classifications of hybrid social unstable society, and between all of that were still intense struggle reeling within the contradictions among the old and the modern.

the article was trying to analyze the variables of the transformation towards hybrid societies and the competitiveness of specific multinational societies and transnational affiliations, to understand the significant approaches of those and their impact on achieving the desired political-social internal balance from the one hand; then seeking to ensure the effectiveness of the outputs that derived from the principle of international interdependence as a tools for maintaining peace and preserving the social peace for the near future, by understanding the options for government action and the variables of civil social forces vis-à-vis the future of social peace itself.

An Artificial Neural Network Prediction Model of GFRP Residual Tensile Strength
...Show More Authors

This study uses an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) to examine the constitutive relationships of the Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) residual tensile strength at elevated temperatures. The objective is to develop an effective model and establish fire performance criteria for concrete structures in fire scenarios. Multilayer networks that employ reactive error distribution approaches can determine the residual tensile strength of GFRP using six input parameters, in contrast to previous mathematical models that utilized one or two inputs while disregarding the others. Multilayered networks employing reactive error distribution technology assign weights to each variable influencing the residual tensile strength of GFRP. Temperatur

Clinical effectiveness of customized versus noncustomized orthodontic appliances: A systematic review
...Show More Authors
OBJECTIVE:

To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of treatment with customized compared to noncustomized fixed orthodontic appliances.

METHOD:

A comprehensive search was performed using 13 databases until February 20, 2024. Study eligibility criteria were based on studies that compared orthodontic treatment with customized fixed appliances (labial or lingual) with noncustomized appliances. All ages and types of malocclusions were included.

Removal of Cadmium Ions from Simulated Wastewater Using Rice Husk Biosorbent
...Show More Authors

Biosorption of cadmium ions from simulated wastewater using rice husk was studied with initial concentration of 25 mg/l. Equilibrium isotherm was studied using Langmuir, Freundlich, BET and Timken models. The results show that the Freundlich isotherm is the best fit model to describe this process with high determination coefficient equals to 0.983. There was a good compliance between the experimental and theoretical results. Highest removal efficiency 97% was obtained at 2.5g of adsorbent, pH 6 and contact time 100 min.

Design of Two-Layer Roller Compacted Concrete with Joints by KENSLAB
...Show More Authors

Roller compacted concrete (RCC) is a type of rigid pavement that is designed in a similar way to conventional concrete pavements reflecting its mode of failure. The thickness design of RCC pavements is based on keeping the flexural stresses and fatigue damage in the pavement caused by wheel loads within allowable limits. As in all jointed concrete pavements, there is a greater effect from loads placed along edges and less at interior locations in the pavement. Joints in RCC pavement are clearly critical areas and form weak points. RCC is typically constructed with saw-cut joints to prevent random cracking, improve the appearance of the pavement surface, and maintain the highest possible load transfer across the joints. Performance of RC Beams reinforced with Steel Fibers under Pure Torsion
...Show More Authors

Reinforced Concrete (RC) beams are designed to resist torsion and shear and flexural failure due to applied loading. The failure mode of concrete elements owing to shear and torsion is unwanted and occurs without warning. So, in the design process it must be taken into account that if failure takes place, it is preferable for it to be flexural as this gives an indication before it occurs. The aim of the present study is to investigate the impact of using steel fibers with and without ordinary torsional reinforcements, on the torsional strength, crack distribution, and ductility of RC beams. The intended plan is to investigate the torsional capacity enhancement of RC beams with added steel fibers under monotonic torsional load. The f

Structural Behavior of Reinforced Concrete Flat Plates Strengthened by Horizontal Reinforcement
...Show More Authors

Flat plate structures consist of a slab supported directly by columns without beams or drop panels, resulting in a thinner slab with more efficient use of space. Despite these advantages, a flat plate slab is subjected to brittle punching shear. Sudden collapse may occur when a column pushes a piece of concrete from the slab above it. This paper displays Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ABAQUS/ CAE 2019 to simulate the punching shear impact on a flat plate strengthened with horizontal steel bars of varying number and diameter, located at the compressive side of the slab. A numerical model was constructed with 8-noded hexahedral 3D brick elements for concrete and 2-noded linear 2D beam elements for steel reinforcement. The model w

Steel Collar Strengthening of a Slab-Column Connection under Eccentric Load
...Show More Authors

The current study focuses on the punching shear resistance of reinforced concrete flat slabs with steel collars, examining it both experimentally and numerically. Six square flat slab specimens were casted and tested under static load, axial load, and eccentric load. The effects of the steel collars and eccentricity on the load-displacement behavior, ultimate load capacity, cracking load, failure mode, stiffness, failure angle, and ductility, were investigated. The results demonstrated that using steel collars in slab-column connection greatly increases the shear capacity of the slab under eccentric loads and moments. The strengthened slabs' ultimate capacity increased by 34% and 61%, respectively, compared to that of the slabs with

Some Metal Ions Complexes Derived From Schiff Base Ligand with Anthranillic Acid: Preparation, Spectroscopic and Biological Studies: organic chemistry
...Show More Authors

This search includes the preparation of Schiff base ligand (SB) from condensation primary amine with vanillin. The new ligand was diagnosed by spectroscopic methods as Mass, NMR, CHN and FTIR. Ligand complexes were mixed from new (SB) and Anthranillic acid (A) with five metal (II) chlorides. The preparation and diagnosis were conducted by FTIR, CHN, UV-visible, molar conductivity, atomic absorption and magnetic moment. The octahedral geometrical shape of the complexes was proposed. The ligands and their new complexes were screened with two different types of bacteria.

Local wheat peel as a solid surface to remove Azure B dye from aqueous solution:Equilibrium isotherms and thermodynamic study
...Show More Authors

In this research local wheat peel was used as an adsorbent surface for removal of Azure B (AB) dye from the aqueous solution. The adsorption process was performed at different experimental parameters, equilibrium time, temperature, ionic strength and solution pH. The isotherms of adsorption are of H-type as compared with Giles curves and the adsorption data were coincide with Freundlich equation. The adsorption kinetic data were analyzed using pseudo- first and second order kinetic models. The effect of temperature was studied and the amount of dye adsorbed was found to increase with the increasing of temperature from 25 to 50 oC. The values of thermodynamic functions like enthalpy and entropy have been estimated. The quantity of adso
