     Applications of quantitative methods, which had been explicit attention during previous period (the last two centuries) is the method of application sales man or traveling salesman method. A field experiment was conducted during winter season of 2021 at a research station of college of agricultural engineering sciences, university of Baghdad to determine the response of active fertility percentage and seed yield and its components of faba bean (Vicia faba L. cv. Aguadulce) to distance between plants and spraying of nano and traditional boron. A Randomized Complete Block Design according to split-plots arrangement was used at three replicates. A series of new maleimide monomers substituted with Schiff base moieties were synthesized via acid-catalyzed condensation of 3-(N-maleimidyl)phenyl hydrazide with aromatic aldehydes and ketones. The newly synthesized monomers were introduced in free radical chain growth homopolymerization producing five new polymaleimides with pendent Schiff base moieties .The new monomers were introduced also in free radical chain growth copolymerization with acrylonitrile producing new five copolymaleimides containing pendent Schiff base moieties.
