This book presents the problem of tooth decay due to bacteria Streptococcus mutans one of methods of treatment using 3 extracts of S. persica (miswak) (aqueous, acetone and methanol) and prove its effectiveness and its impact on the gtf (B, C, and D) genes that code the glucosyltransferase (Gtf) enzymes that cause decay membrane compared to the usual means used for the prevention of tooth decay

Salbutamol sulphate nebules is considered as the most rapid effective route of
administration for treatment of acute attacks of asthma .
This study was carried out to formulate a stable formula of salbutamol nebules
containing 0.1% (2.5mg / 2.5ml) of the active ingredient in a buffered solution .
Stability study in different buffers at pH 3 showed that the longest shelf life was
equal to 3.5 years for formula F .In addition the bioequivalency of this formula
incomparison to ventolin® nebules was measured and it was equal to (± 5.2) %.
Also it was found that there was no significant difference between the formula
and ventolin® nebules regarding their pharmacokinetic parameters which include
elimination

    Shiranish has been studied at Hijran section near Erbil city, NE Iraq. Fifty two thin-sections were prepared to study them under polarized microscope, to determine the petrographic component, organic content and digenetic processes. Rock units subdivided into four rock beds, as follows: dolostone, foraminiferal biomicrite, poorly washed biomicrite and micrite. Vertical succession of Shiranish Formation refers to off-shore quite marine environment.

Heat transfer process and fluid flow in a solar chimney used for natural ventilation are investigated numerically in the present work. Solar chimney was tested by selecting different positions of absorber namely: at the back side, front side, and at the middle of the air gap. CFD analysis based on finite volume method is used to predict the thermal performance, and air flow in two dimensional solar chimney under unsteady state condition, to identify the effect of different parameters such as solar radiation. Results show that a solar chimney with absorber at the middle of the air gap gives better ventilation performance. A comparison between the numerical and previous experimental results shows fair agreement.

Sage (Salvia officinalis), belong to Labiatae family is indigenous to Iraq and other Mediterranean areas but now cultivated world- wide, principally for its use as culinary herb.    This research  studyies  wear  rate  of  composite  materials  by using Epoxy Resin and Polyurethane Rubber as a matrix  of weigt percentage (90:10) (Ep/Pu) and reinforced by PVC fibers and Aluminum fibers two dimension knitted mat with fractional volume(15 %), in different conditions like: lab conditions and after submerge the samples in water for different periods of time. . four kinds of materials were prepared: (Ep+pu), (Ep+Pu+PVC), (Ep+Pu+Al.F), (Ep+Pu+PVC+Al. F) .And the results have shown that the best wear resistance are for the hybrid composite material    (Ep + Pu+ PVC + Al. F) and wear rate of  all samples increased when it was submerged in water
