The future role of the military establishment in the political life of Egypt

There are certain dates in the history of nations that have their effects on them ,and the 25th of January 2011 is considered one of them in the history of the state of Egypt .Since this date Egypt has passed through many events that led to changes in the political life and its actors . New rolls has arisen for actors that didn't take part in the political life before so clearly ,like the military establishment which started to practice more prominent political roll, till it became the most important actor in the political life of Egypt .This establishment tried to institutionalize its roll through constitutional means ,considering that controlling the authority is the only alternative to safeguard the state which we are trying to study here through the assumption that the Egyptian military establishment is an institution stands for itself and works for its own interest through controlling the state and using it for its own purposes.

Influence of Stone Powder on the Mechanical Properties of Clayey Soil

In this experimental study, the use of stone powder as a stabilizer to the clayey soil studied. Tests of Atterberg limits, compaction, fall cone (FCT), Laboratory vane shear (LVT), and expansion index (EI) were carried out on soil-stone powder mixtures with fixed ratios of stone powder (0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%) by the dry weight. Results indicated that the undrained shear strength obtained from FCT and LVT increased at all the admixture ratios, and the expansion index reduced with the increase of the stone powder.

Isochronal Studies of the Structural and Electrical Properties of CdTe Films

The paper reports the influence of annealing temperature under vacuum for one hour on the some structural and electrical properties of p-type CdTe thin films were grown at room temperature under high vacuum by using thermal evaporation technique with a mean thickness about 600nm. X-ray diffraction analysis confirms the formation of CdTe cubic phase at all annealing temperature. From investigated the electrical properties of CdTe thin films, the electrical conductivity, the majority carrier concentration, and the Hall mobility were found increase with increasing annealing temperatures.

New application of pervaporation to enhance the conversion of consecutive reaction

It studies the saponification of diethyladipate DA with sodium hydroxide NaOH solution synchronous with separating ethanol from the reaction mixture through an aqueous – organic membrane. The effect of time on some variables such as: permeated ethanol concentration EtOH wt%, separation factor (α), concentration of NaOH solution CB in the reaction medium and the conversion of DA to monoethyladipate (the intermediate product) was studied.
