Background: obesity is a serious public health problem. Literatures in Iraq explained that obesity due to
change in economy and Lifestyles.
Objective: To report on prevalence of obesity among women in Al- sader City, Baghdad. 2017.
Method: A total of 440 females were included in this study. They were Selected randomly from relatives
to patients accompanied them In attending to primary health care centers. BMI (body mass index) to
assess the Weight. Demo-graphic data were requested too.
Result: The prevalence of obesity was 35.2%. Age , education, divorced Widows were determinants of
obesity. Employment and crowding Index (socioeconomic status) were not obvious determinants of
obesity.

In this paper, a comparison of production and domestic consumption of Iraq's food industries within economic environment of a sample of countries is presented. Tracked by a number of variables, To extrapolate the reality of this industry in terms of its importance to individual consumption and importance on national economy, then, to find size and type of obstacles facing the industry in Iraq. Diabetic retinopathy is one of most important complications of diabetes mellitus that can be treated by Nd:YAG laser. Laser is used in ophthalmic practice for photocoagulation and photodisruption. The purpose of this study is to evaluate changes in immunological ,hematological and biochemical values after treatment of diabetic retinopathy by laser. Blood samples from 10 patients suffering from diabetic retinopathy were taken before and after laser treatment to coagulate retina to prevent leakage and hemorraghe to avoid deterioration of vision.In group one (4 patients = 40%), blood tests were done one day after treatment.
