Many economic entities working in multiple industrial fields suffer fromlow techniques in using modern administrative means in their works. The mostused tool in measuring required procedures is to adopt and use quality costs. inspite of complications and bronchial of operations in construction projects, Theresearcher was able to find a structure to quality costs according to traditionclassification (prevention, Appraisal, failure) which enables the calculation ofthese costs and then analyze results and setting standards which can beimplemented in evaluating strategic performance for targeted project. and theforge research in theoretical fly to quality and costs concerning it inconstruction section , as well as strategically performance a

Free Convection in an Inclined Concentric Annular Square Cavities Filled With Porous Medium and Heated By Non-Uniform Temperature
...Show More Authors

A numerical study of the two-dimensional steady free convection flow in an inclined annulus between two concentric square cavities filled with a porous medium is presented in this paper for the case when the side outer walls are kept with differentially heated temperature while the horizontal outer walls and the inner walls are insulated. The heated wall is assumed to have spatial sinusoidal temperature variation about a constant mean value. The Darcy model is used and the fluid is assumed to be a standard Boussinesq fluid. For the Cartesian coordinate system, the governing equations which were used in stream function form are discretized by using the finite difference method with successive under – relaxation method (SUR) and are solv

The analysis of time series considers one of the mathematical and statistical methods in explanation of the nature phenomena and its manner in a specific time period.

Because the studying of time series can get by building, analysis the models and then forecasting gives the priority for the practicing in different fields, therefore the identification and selection of the model is of great importance in spite of its difficulties.

The selection of a standard methods has the ability for estimation the errors in the estimated the parameters for the model, and there will be a balance between the suitability and the simplicity of the model.

ANATOMICAL AND PALYNOLOGICAL STUDY OF AGAVE AMERICANA L. (ASPARAGACEAE) GROWING IN IRAQ
...Show More Authors

The anatomical features of Agave americana L. leaf have been described, transverse sections of the leaf have been examined, the epidermis is single-layered on both surfaces, the stomata are sunken and mesophyll is (2-3) layers of parenchyma cells, vascular bundles are collateral type. The pollen of A. americana was studied. The observation was made with L.M. (Light microscope) and S.E.M. (Scanning electron microscope) to determine the significance of pollen features as taxonomic characters. The pollen was monades, homopolar, monosulcate, and with large size, subprolate in shape from P/E ratio (Polar axis/ Equatorial diameter) and furrow length and width, exine thickness and ornamentation.

Prevalence and Risk Factors for Giardia Species in Livestock Animals of Iraq
...Show More Authors

Giardiasis is an infection caused by the protozoan flagellate parasite Giardia spp. in the intestine. G duodenalis, a species complex of diverse genotypes that tend to demonstrate host specificity, is responsible for most veterinary health related infections; production animals, companion animals, and wildlife can all be infected. Abdominal pain and diarrhea, typically accompanied by steatorrhea, are the most common symptoms of Giardiasis. Cysts or antigens in feces are commonly used to diagnose the disease. Treatment regimens vary and are dependent on the indication. Control methods must include hygiene measures. Despite direct evidence of Giardia sp transmission to humans via polluted water supplies, our analysis will focus on some r

Statistical Analysis of Mortality and Morbidity Due to Traffic Accidents in Iraq
...Show More Authors

Undoubtedly, Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs) are a major dilemma in term of mortality and morbidity facing the road users as well as the traffic and road authorities. Since 2002, the population in Iraq has increased by 49 percent and the number of vehicles by three folds. Consequently, these increases were unfortunately combined with rising the RTAs number, mortality and morbidity. Alongside the humanitarian tragedies, every year, there are considerable economic losses in Iraq lost due to the epidemic of RTAs. Given the necessity of understanding the contributory factors related to RTAs for the implementation by traffic and road authorities to improve the road safety, the necessity have been a rise for

Radionuclides Activity and Radiological Hazard Assessment in Bananas Samples Exported to Iraq
...Show More Authors

The average concentration of radionuclide’s in the various banana samples were collected from being the most popular markets in Baghdad city - Iraq were measured by use Sodium Iodide Thallium [NaI(Tl)] detector. The radionuclide’s observed with reliable regularity belonged to the series-decay naturally occurring radionuclide’s headed by 232U and 232Th as well as the non-series nuclide, 40K and 137Cs. The average concentration of 40K was found the least average concentration value recorded as876.74625Bq kg-1.The average concentration of 238U was 28.6425Bqkg-1for ²³²Th, it was found to have the average concentration 14.1805 Bqkg-1. The cesium concentration in the sample was found in the healthy range.

Detection and isolation of flavonoids from Calendula officinalis (F.Asteraceae) cultivated in Iraq
...Show More Authors

Calendula officinalis L. (Asteraceae) known as marigold is known to have several pharmacological activities and used for the treatment of several diseases as measles, jaundice, constipation and several inflammations. Marigold flowers contain several chemical constituents mainly flavonoids, triterpenoids and essential oil. In this study marigold flowers cultivated in Iraq had been investigated for its flavonoids content. The study revealed the presence of quercetin and kaempferol glycosides and the absence of myricetin glycosides. The flowers were extracted with ethanol 70% fractionated with different solvent and the flavonoids were isolated by preparative HPLC. The isolated flavonoids were identified by measuring melting points, UV, IR,

Phytoplankton Diversity and Pollution Index in North Part of Euphrates River, Iraq
...Show More Authors

This study covered approximately 150 km from the northern part of the Euphrates River in Iraq. Water and phytoplankton samples were monthly collected from six selected stations from April 2013 to March 2014; three stations were distributed within Hadithah Reservoir, while the three others were in the river's inflow. Water physical and chemical parameters and the phytoplankton community structure were analyzed. The most important results of this study were the diagnoses of 355 phytoplankton species belong to eight phylums. Algal class Bacillariophyceae which belong to phylum Ochrophyta was the most qualitative and quantitative dominant in all stations over the study period. The stations within the reservoir were characterized by higher nu
