Russian foreign policy towards the Arab Gulf For the post-2001
...Show More Authors

The Russian foreign policy of the post-cold-war era faced dilemmas in the light of the international and regional realities of the disintegration of the Soviet Union and the formation of a new unipolar international order led by the United States of America. Thus, Russian foreign policy-making was divided over the nature of the foreign policy to be followed. The achievement of the Russian goals, especially as the objectives of Russian foreign policy have been set within the framework of trying to regain the status and leading role, as well as the establishment of some fundamental changes to be consistent with the new international situation of the post-one The Russian Federation has adopted in the sphere of its foreign policy to the various circles in order to ensure the possibility of achieving political stability - economic, each of these departments seek to achieve their goals that are in the side of achieving the basic goal is to strengthen the overall strategy of Russia Federal. The Persian Gulf region was particularly important in the Russian foreign policy, especially after the British withdrawal from eastern Suez. This was reinforced by the Russian perception after the American war on Afghanistan in 2001. Russia lost a new bet (Afghanistan bet) The political-economic influence of Russia after losing it in the strategic sense more than two decades ago on the one hand, and on the other after the stage of the US occupation of Iraq in 2003, we see that the Russians have lost the rest of their bets in the Gulf region

Near-infrared PbS quantum dots functionalized with affibodies and ZnPP for targeted imaging and therapeutic applications
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>We report a new theranostic device based on lead sulfide quantum dots (PbS QDs) with optical emission in the near infrared wavelength range decorated with affibodies (small 6.5 kDa protein-based antibody replacements) specific to the cancer biomarker human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), and zinc(II) protoporphyrin IX (ZnPP) to combine imaging, targeting and therapy within one nanostructure. Colloidal PbS QDs were synthesized in aqueous solution with a nanocrystal diameter of ∼5 nm and photoluminescence emission in the near infrared wavelength range. The ZHER2:432 affibody, mutated through the introduction of two cysteine residues at the C-terminus (</p> ... Show More

Calibration and evaluation of aquacrop for maize (Zea Mays L.) under different irrigation and cultivation methods
...Show More Authors

rop simulation models play a pivotal role in evaluating irrigation management strategies to improve water use in agriculture. The aim of this study is to verify the validity of the Aquacrop model of maize under the surface and sprinkler irrigation systems, and a cultivation system, borders and furrows, and for two varieties of Maze (Fajr and Drakma) At two different sites in Iraq, Babylon and Al-Qadisiyah governorates. An experiment was conducted to evaluate the performance of the Aquacrop model in simulating canopy cover (CC), biomass (B), dry yield, harvest index (HI), and water productivity (WP). The results of RMSE, R2, MAE, d, NSE, CC, Pe indicated good results and high compatibility between measured and simulated values. The highest a

Empirical model for predicting slug-pseudo slug and slug-churn transitions of upward air/water flow
...Show More Authors

A pseudo-slug flow is a type of intermittent flow characterized by short, frothy, chaotic slugs that have a structure velocity lower than the mixture velocity and are not fully formed. It is essential to accurately estimate the transition from conventional slug (SL) flow to pseudo-slug (PSL) flow, and from SL to churn (CH), by precisely predicting the pressure losses. Recent research has showed that PSL and CH flows comprise a significant portion of the conventional flow pattern maps. This is particularly true in wellbores and pipelines with highly deviated large-diameter gas-condensate wellbores and pipelines. Several theoretical and experimental works studied the behavior of PSL and CH flows; however, few models have been suggested to pre

Theoretical and experimental studies for different compounds to calculate: electronic transfer, energy gap and NLO properties
...Show More Authors

This work involves theoretical and experimental studies for seven compounds to calculate the electrons spectrum and NLO properties. The theoretical study is done by employing the Time Depending Density Functional Theory TD-DFT and B3LYP/high basis set 6-311++G (2d,2p), using Gaussian program 09. Experimental study by UV/VIS spectrophotometer device to prove the theoretical study. Theoretical and experimental results were applicable in spectrum and energy gap values, in addition to convergence theoretically the energy gap results from ΔEHOMO-LUMO and UV/VIS. spectrum. Consider the theoretical method very appropriate to compounds that absorb in vacuum UV.

The Exploitation of Carmen Valero Garces' Theory in the Criticism of Literary Texts: Saleh al-Jafari's Arabic Translation of "Rubbayat al-Khayyam" as a: کاربست نظریه¬ی کارمن والرو گارسس در نقد ترجمه¬ی ادبی (مورد مطالعه: تعریب صالح الجعفری از رباعیات خیام)
...Show More Authors

There is a mutual relationship between the form of a text and its meaning so as separating these two or devaluating the role of one of them leads to the absence of the value therein. Thus, a translation is important as to how it relates the details of a text. That is, the text has special features which go beyond form, and these set out its distinctiveness. Here, we tackle Saleh al-Jafari's Arabic translation of  "Rubbayat al-Khayyam" of Naysapour descriptively and analytically by depending on extracts from the original text. This translation is evaluated on the basis of Spanish critic Maria Carmen Valero Garces. Herein, we discuss the effectiveness of this theory in the criticism of literary texts. It has been concluded that al-Jaf

Textual thresholds and its Aesthetic in history: "Mamo Zain" by its author, the famous Kurdish poet Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khani, deceased (1118 AH / 707 AD), translated by Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Saeed Ramadan al-Bouti. Research on the connotation and manifestations of interconnection

Literary works include, for the most part, text thresholds, which are the first entry into reading them and understanding their connotations, and (literary works) vary according to text thresholds, some of which are limited to the title and on the cover page only, and others, in addition to these two thresholds, are based on the dedication threshold too, and others ...

This study takes the story of "Mamo Zain" of the poet Ahmed Al-Khani and his translator Sheikh Muhammad Ramadan Al-Bouti as the field of study, as it is a unique literary work, which included a number of textual thresholds which supported each other and cooperated with the content of the work.

The threshold of dedication in the story of "Mamo Zain" was a spee

This research seeks to try to address one of the important issues in society that prevents the state from achieving its social, economic, political and financial goals, represented by the low tax proceeds, through which it can achieve those goals. What is reflected on the tax proceeds, knowing that the General Tax Authority does not take into account the issue of analyzing the opportunity cost of corporate capital as one of the profit indicators when setting the annual controls, which leads to a decrease in the tax proceeds, and therefore the research objective will be to shed light on the importance of adopting the concept of analysis The opportunity cost by the General Tax Authority to achieve a tax proceeds commensurate with t
