Lexicography, the art and craft of dictionary-making, is as old as writing. Since its very early stages several thousands of years ago, it has helped to serve basically the every-day needs of written communication among individuals in communities speaking different languages or different varieties of the same language. Two general approaches are distinguished in the craft of dictionary-making: the semasiological and the onomasiological. The former is represented by usually-alphabetical dictionaries as such, i.e. their being inventories of the lexicon, while the latter is manifested in thesauruses. Honorifics are linguistic expressions which maintain social as well as religious respect to other people. They are linguistic techniques which express politeness to other interlocutors. Semantically speaking, honorifics are of two types: al-Laqab (title) and al-Kuniya (teknonyms) following a specific word order. They form part of the Arab recognitions and are mold into their social and communicative competence.

      The study focuses upon religious and regional honorifics which convey deference and respect. The research deals with Iraq's position of the Lebanese civil war and the Efforts made by Iraq in order to stop the bleeding of this war, the research also deals with the nature of regime in Lebanon and the developments that preceded the war and the positions of the internal and external competing forces, as weu as handling the Iraqi Syrian disagreement and it's impaet on the situation of Lebanon and the war developments.
The research focused on the Iraq's position towards the externd proposed solutions to solve the Lebanese civil war.

This study aims to show the markers of the Arabic noun(genitive, nun nation articles,
vocative, definite article and predication). These markers distinguish the noun from other
