In most of Beckett’s plays , there are prominent elements of absurdity that are landmarks of his style and the way of his writing like : the physical and the spiritual decay of characters, the disintegration of language as it becomes no longer a means of human communication because there is an inability to establish any kind of mental contact among them. These elements are quite apparent in Beckett’s “All That Fall”. The play exhibits a list of conflicts: one is between powerful forces as that between the force of life represented by Maddy and the forces of death represented by Dan .The second is the conflict and contempt between the old generation and the new one in the case of Dan’s desire to kill the boy fetching him home or as Beckett names it the theme of the new gulfs open under the old gulfs .The third is posing opposite viewpoints of the protagonists as in those of the old couple ,to stress modern man’s alienation . The play presents us perverted kinds of human beings who each seek a shelter as a type of escape and withdrawal from the bitter life in the outside world, like Miss Fitt who seeks refuge in religion which is also a recurrent element in Beckett’s works. Modern man is made and forced to live in an artificial and self-made conditions transforming shadow-like kind of life as Beckett thinks, in the sense of limiting himself to collective or superficial identity like Dan on the one hand. Whereas Maddy , on the other hand ,tries hard to get out of the cocoon of the cliché to a more active and vital role that in any way is made unsuitable for her due to her old age. This is because of that feeling of emptiness of the world around the characters who for their miserable lot , are fully aware of that and that surely there has been a fall but what is more certain is that there is no redemption.
Natural fibers and particles reinforced composites are being broadly used due to their bio and specific properties such as low density and easy to machine and production with low cost. In this work, water absorption and mechanical properties such as tensile strength, flexural strength and impact strength of recycled jute fibers reinforced epoxy resin were enhanced by treating these fibers with alkaline solution. The recycled jute fibers were treated with different concentration of (NaOH) solution at (25 0C) for a period of (24) hours. Five heavy metals, namely Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, and Pb in the surface water and through the water column were studied at 10 selected stations in the Razzazah lake and Karbala drainage canal for the period between November 1990 to October 1991*. pH and total hardness were also measured. Lead was found to be the highest in concentration as overall average values, followed by an manganese, iron, copper then cadmium at the surface as well as along the water column. All the studied metals were below or close to the maximum allowed limits of Iraqi standards for inland water. The spatial and seasonal variations were discussed.

Five Saccharomyces cerevisiae isolated from the ability of chitinase production from the isolates were studied. Quantitative screening appeared that Saccharomyces cerevisiae S4 was the highest chitinase producer specific activity 1.9 unit/mg protein. The yeast was culture in liquid and solid state fermentation media (SSF). Different plant obstanases were used for (SSF) with the chitine, while liquid media contained chitine with the diffrented nitrogen source. The favorable condition for chitinase producers were incubated at 30 ºC at pH 6 and 1% colloidal chitine.
A field experiment was carried out to find out the effect of some herbicides(Pallas, Crash, U46) on the companion weed to three cultivars of the oat crop (Shefa, Hamel, and Pimula) and the yield and its components of these cultivars. The results showed the superiority of the two treatments of spraying weed herbicides (T1 and T2 ) by giving the best results, as they recorded the lowest number of weed plants after 30 days of spraying reached 1.44 and 1.67 plant/m2 . Besides, the lowest weed dry weight was 0.11 and 0.00 g/m2, and the highest inhibition percentage in dry weight was 98.44% and 100.0% of the two treatments, respectively.
