Heated and silent adoration in the novel of " Desert of Love" by Francois Mauriac: Passions dévorantes et cachées dans Le Désert de lʼAmour de François Mauriac
...Show More Authors

François Mauriac’s novel The Desert of Love (1949) puts the reader before an experienced sociologist who is skillfully able to analyze the most mysterious human emotions and feelings.  The writer's starting point is that people are similar in feelings but different in behavior. He severely criticized the aristocratic class and uncovered its defects and faults.

The novelist presents Courege's family as an example of the aristocratic class. It is a family torn by hatred, selfishness and disagreements due to absence of intimacy and love. This poisoned environment pushes the father and his son, Raymond, to search away for emotional ventures and banned relations to satiate their emotional thirst.

Unfortunately, they fall in deep love with the same woman unintentionally. She does not satisfy their burning passion as she leaves them with much thirst for love. They become like getting out of frying pan into the fire.

Finally, Mauriac figures out the reasons of all problems in the absence of love and passion which represent the key for welfare and happiness. The writer reveals his stylistic skill and unparalleled literary ability in describing the whole atmosphere which leaves the reader amused and captivated in passion battle , a battle with no winner.

The paper is divided into two basic topics:
1-Dryness of family relations
2-Emotional ventures and illegal relations
The research paper depends on objective analytic approach via topic unity analysis .

Study the Effect of the High Voltage on The preparation of Polyvinyl Alcohol/ Tio2 Nano Fiber by Electrospinning
...Show More Authors

Abstract:In this research we prepared nanofibers by electrospinning from poly (Vinyl Alcohol) / TiO2. The spectrum of the solution (Emission) was studied at 772 nm. Several process parameter were Investigated as concentration of PVA, the effect of distance from nozzle tip to the grounded collector (gap distance), and final the effect of high voltage. We find the optimum condition to prepare a narrow nanofibers is at concentration of PVA 16gm, the fiber has 20nm diameter.

Study the Effect of Annealing on Optical and Electrical Properties of ZnS Thin Film Prepared by CO2 Laser Deposition Technique
...Show More Authors

In this work, ZnS thin films have been deposited by developed laser deposition technique on glass substrates at room temperature. After deposition process, the films were annealed at different temperatures (200ºC , 300 ºC and 400ºC ) using thermal furnace. The developed technique was used to obtain homogeneous thin films of ZnS depending on vaporization of this semiconductor material by continuous CO2 laser with a simple fan to ensure obtaining homogeneous films. ZnS thin films were annealed at temperature 200ºC, 300 ºC and 400ºC for (20) minute in vacuum environment. Optical properties of ZnS thin film such as absorbance, transmittance, reflectance, optical band gap, refractive index extinction coefficient and absorption coefficien

Non-thermal plasma effects on of structural and optical properties of Nio:Li thin films prepared by the spray pyrolysis technique
...Show More Authors

In this research ,Undoped Nio and 1%Li doped Nio thin films were deposited utilizing chemical spray pyrolysis on the glass substrates heated (450C). The effects of non-thermal plasma on the structural and optical properties were studied. XRD measurement shows that Nio and Nio:1%Li films were found to be polycrystalline and have cubic structure with a preferred orientation (111). Decreased crystal size after exposure especially at (7) sec. AFM data indicate that the surface roughness average and (RMS) values of the prepared doped films are increasing after exposure to plasma, the transmittance increases after doped samples exposure to plasma, it was found that the energy gap value decreased when doped samples exposure to plasma, also, thickn

Effect of annealing temperature and laser pulse energy on the optical properties of CuO films prepared by pulsed laser deposition
...Show More Authors

In this work; copper oxide films (CuO) were fabricated by PLD. The films were analyzed by UV-VIS absorption spectra and their thickness by using profilometer. Pulsed Nd:YAG laser was used for prepared CuO thin films under O2 gas environment with varying both pulse energy and annealing temperature. The optical properties of   as-grown film such as optical transmittance spectrum, refractive index and energy gap has been measured experimentally and the effects of laser pulse energy  and annealing temperature on it were studied. An inverse relationship between energy gap and both annealing temperature and pulse energy was observed.

Study of the heat treatment effect on electrical and porosity of Cermet Coating layers (Zro2 – Y2O3) prepared by Thermal Spraying
...Show More Authors

The technical of Flame Thermal Spray had been used in producing a cermet
composite based on powders of stabilized zirconium oxide containing amount of
Yatteria oxide (ZrO2- 8Y2O3) reiforced by minerals powders of bonding material
(Ni-Cr- Al- Y) in different rates of additions (25, 35, 50) on stainless steel base type
(304) after preparing it by the way of Grit Blasting.
Before heat treatment, the coated cermet layers were characterized for porosity
and electric resistivity. All samples were heat treated in vacuum furnace at different
temperature and times. The physical tests had been operated after heat treatment
and gave best results especially porosity, which found to be reduced dramatically
and producing hig
