In this paper investigate the influences of dissolved CO₂/H₂S gases, crude oil velocity and temperature on the rate of corrosion of crude oil transmission pipelines of Maysan oil fields southern Iraq. The Potentiostatic corrosion test technique was conducted into two types of carbon steel pipeline (materials API 5L X60 and API 5L X80). The computer software ECE electronic corrosion engineer was used to predict the influences of CO₂ partial pressure, the composition of crude oil, flow velocity of crude oil and percentage of material elements of carbon steel on the rate of corrosion. The oxidative degradation of Orange G dye by nanosized CeO₂ catalyst has been performed in this study. The catalyst was prepared by precipitation method. Various characterization techniques were carried out to study the physical and chemical properties of the synthesized catalyst. Spelling correction is considered a challenging task for resource-scarce languages. The Arabic language is one of these resource-scarce languages, which suffers from the absence of a large spelling correction dataset, thus datasets injected with artificial errors are used to overcome this problem. In this paper, we trained the Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer (T5) model using artificial errors to correct Arabic soft spelling mistakes. Our T5 model can correct 97.8% of the artificial errors that were injected into the test set. Additionally, our T5 model achieves a character error rate (CER) of 0.77% on a set that contains real soft spelling mistakes.
