For this purpose, classical and Bayesian parameter estimation procedures are considered. The maximum likelihood estimators are used for the classical parameter estimation procedure. The asymptotic distributions of these estimators are also derived. It is not possible to obtain explicit solutions of Bayesian estimators. The ground state charge, proton and matter densities and their rms radii of some Te-isotopes are studied by means of the Skyrme–Hartree–Fock (SHF) method with the Skyrme parameters namely; SKB, SGI, SKM, SKX, MSK7 and SLy4. Also, the neutron skin thickness, the elastic charge form factor and the binding energy per nucleon are calculated in the same framework.
