He presents his days spent justlike a series of images carrying advices and experiencesto whole the world. The words shows the life of a small orphan who met early with death when he lost his father. Then death becomes as his shadow that goes with him on day and night until the end. The mother of the little Poulou seems like the mirror that reflects the sadness and the melancholy of the dark and gloomy days. The small Poulou becomes his only consolation in misery. The little Jean -Paul lives completely in a literary atmosphere . Because his grandfather Karl Schweitzer sanctifies the literature and men of letters who have left their fingerprints in the heart of human consciousness. ... Show MoreThe study aimed to design a test of pre-writing skills for public kindergartens in Baghdad city. The test consisted of (25) items applied on a sample of (150) kindergarteners to identify these skills as well as to identify the significant difference between male and female children and if there is a difference between pre-school children and kindergarteners. The results showed the presence of pre-writing skills with a high degree in kindergarten children. The differences were clear in these skills between male and female children and those in pre-school than those in kindergartens. The researcher suggested a number of recommendations and proposals.
This research aims to identify the level of Voluntary work among university students, and explore the statistical differences of voluntary work among students due the gender and major. A total of (400) male and female student from morning study were selected as a sample to achieve the research's objectives. Al-Malaki (2010) scale was adopted to collect the required data. The results revealed that men take massive part in voluntary work than women, and students of human sciences showed significant differences than those of other majors.
