The current research aims to investigate the effect of a specimen of Daniel in the acquisition of concepts for the Arabic language curricula material to the students of the third phase of the Faculty of Basic Education Department of Arabic Language. The sample consists of (93) applications and a student of (47) students in the Division (A), which represents the experimental group which studied the use of a specimen of Daniel, and (46) students in the Division (B), which represents the control group, which studied the traditional way. Philology is a science concerned with issues raised about language. It is a research into the mental aspects of its origin in its various sciences. The term (philology) appeared in the writings of Arab scholars in the fourth century AH. One of the most prominent topics of philology is research on the origin and development of language; Because it is one of the topics that preoccupied thinkers and many scholars, philosophers, and theologians, as well as linguists, have tackled research in it.                

The present study aims to show the importance of ESL reading ability in acquiring English as a second language. The study involves 92 college students (males and females) from the Department of English at Nizwa College of Applied Sciences, Sultanate of Oman. They represent two groups, the foundation year students and the first year English majors. A number of tests were used to measure students’ overall proficiency in English as well as their reading ability (i.e., the ability to contribute to the main idea of the text, scanning, skimming, to derive word meanings from context, to use a dictionary to find meanings, definitions, to identify prefixes, antonyms and synonyms). يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة أثر الخطاب السياسي الشعبوي في القيم الديمقراطية في دول الاتحاد الأوروبي، مع التركيز على إيطاليا بوصفها دراسة حالة. وينطلق من فرضية مفادها أن الخطابات الشعبوية تتباين بين اتجاهات تدعم الديمقراطية من خلال الدعوة إلى الديمقراطية المباشرة والسيادة الشعبية، واتجاهات أخرى تقوضها برفضها التعددية والنخب. ويعزو البحث صعود الأحزاب الشعبوية إلى عوامل اقتصادية متشابكة، لا سيما العولمة و
