Linking adverbials are used to organize and bridge together extended stretches of discourse to make the text coherent. They are explicit indicators of the communicative function of the sentence and writers use them to let their readers follow what has already been said and to help them anticipate what is about to follow.
Linking adverbials include those relations of addition, enumeration, summation, apposition and so on. Through the use of these adverbials, the writer is able to organize and develop his ideas and help the reader follow him from one sentence to another. Thus, a linking adverbial is a semantic relation used to show the way in which what is to follow is systematically connected to what has gone before. So, they have anaphoric reference which is considered to be a logical reason to call them 'linking adverbials'.

I will, first of all, be concerned with some theories that have been provided to define the restrictive and the nonrestrictive relative clauses, particularly with the phonetic hypothesis. It will be, then, shown that the phonetic aspect is unable to give clear answers in this respect. The best way to determine restrictivity in both languages is, I think, by implementing of semantic indicators.
The experiment was conducted in the botanical garden of the Department of Life Sciences/ College of Education for Pure Sciences Ibn Al-Haitham for the growing season 2021- 2020 in order to study the effect of urea and NPK fertilizer on some physiological characteristics of watercress plants. The seeds were sown on 10/15/2020 in plastic bags weighing 10 kg of soil. The shoots were sprayed with urea at three concentrations (0, 50, 100) mg L-1 in two sprays, and NPK fertilizer was added as a ground addition at three levels (0, 100, 200) kg H-1 in two sprays in conjunction with urea spraying. The study aimed to identify the awareness degree of teacher students in the department of Arabic language and their supervisors at Al-aqsa University for their future roles in the age of knowledge. To achieve this objective, descriptive- analytical approach was used. The instruments of this study were two questionnaires: first one consist of (20) item for teacher students, and the second consist of (27) item for educational supervisors which covered three roles: professional, technological, and humanitarian.
