Then the research was concluded with a conclusion stating that the reading process is equivalent to the readable text because it explores new meanings, through interpretation, analysis, criticism and construction. The present research aims at identifying the effect of the cognitive discrepancy strategy on the fourth-stage students’ achievement in literature and texts.
