: Summary Iraq suffered under the British administration during the First World War and its entry into an occupation of economic backwardness, and this economic backwardness was linked to the phenomenon of linking Iraq economically to the capitalist world by keeping it as a source of raw materials and a market for capitalist goods, and that the occupation authorities controlled Iraq's economic goods and wealth and mocked them to serve its interests and achieve their political and economic goals that it drew before the war.

The steady state performance of the counter rotating floating ring Journal bearing is analyzed with isothermal finite bearing theory. The effect of different parameters affecting the performance of the bearing (namely speed ratio, clearance ratio and radii ratio), have been investigated.     Literature reviews of reports concerning the parasitic fauna of fishes of Al-Diwaniyah province, Iraq till the end of December 2018 showed that a total of 43 parasite species are so far known from 13 valid fish species investigated for parasitic infections. The parasitic fauna included one euglenozoan, two myzozoans, six ciliophorans, three myxozoans, three trematodes, nine monogeneans, four cestodes, six nematodes, three acanthocephalans and six crustaceans.
