The process of doing many kinds of industries , crafts , professions around Islamic Arabian State , they enable us to say that Arab Muslims over their homelands had been occupied various types of crafts and manufacturing before emergence Islam . Moreover Islam encouraged to work within manufacture field . And These matters were clarified through verses of the Holy Qur’an and honored prophetic guidance ( Sunna  )  . Whereas Arab Muslims applied principle “ Free of Business “  . They admitted to different social groups such as pact – fellows people  to profession or craft which they desire to work . We have to not forget that Arab Muslims had broken all restraints and shackles which had restricted the worker before their masters Persians and Byzantines Rome .  Besides to Arab Muslims were builders , founders of civilization , science , though they inherited various categories of industries from previous eras , but they worked with new multiple paces to maintain them , to improve them and to develop them . And to modernize modern industries are required by this period which the state had reached them of progress , promotion where attained by society . We can also recognize that Iraq with its many cities extended from north to south , had held center of essential position to raise diverse sorts of industries are needed by circumstances of updated state . Iraq had contributed as other regions of the state to cultivate varied industries and to motivate their progress   

And it is from worthy to be mentioned when borders of Islamic Arab State arrived to east and west directions , the caliphs and their custodians paid great attention to advance of industry , its evolution around every location or lands were reached by Islam , made to find out new manufacture to be required within specific time of sophistication and ascending by society . So no strangeness  if there were more of skillful craftsmen who participated to put basic stones and strong bases to rise industry up . Therefore makers had viewed creativity and superiority , they opened new horizons to appear various sorts of textile , wood , leather and metal industries .
