In this paper three techniques for image compression are implemented. The proposed techniques consist of three dimension (3-D) two level discrete wavelet transform (DWT), 3-D two level discrete multi-wavelet transform (DMWT) and 3-D two level hybrid (wavelet-multiwavelet transform) technique. Daubechies and Haar are used in discrete wavelet transform and Critically Sampled preprocessing is used in discrete multi-wavelet transform. This paper tries to understand the poetic reference in the images of woman, she-camel, horse and their manifestations in Tarafah-ibnulAbd's poetry. There has got my attention the fact that these three images have their own distinct taste which is characterised by a clear rhythm, let alone the  lively nature that is filled with liveliness and activity to be in harmony with the poet's youth. For these three images represented the best manifestations of his psychological and artistic poetics. The paper adopts an artistic analysis to arrive at the psychological aspects of these experiences-the woman, the she-camel, and the horse- and to understand the functions of their images and symbolic reference.

This paper aims at exploring the impact of the Iraq-Iran war in the poetry of Adnan Al-Sayegh. Al-Sayegh participation in this war makes him a first hand witness to the atrocities of the trenches and fight in the first lines. This war did not only change his life and world view for good, it changes the nature of his poetry as well. As aresult, war becomes a central issue not only in the poetry Al-Sayegh wrote in the 1980s and 1990s Iraq, but also in the exile.

       ابو الفرج رونی از استادان شعر فارسی در دوره دوم غزنوی است.او در میان شاعران  ابو الفرج خیلی زودتر از دیگر شاعران  عصر خود متوجه نو کردن سبک سخن گردید چنان که میان روش او  وروش  معاصرانش از قبیل عثمان و مسعود سعد و معزی و نظایر آنان اختلافات فراوان وجود دارد. او طرز شعر دورهء اول غزنوی را که باید آن را سبک تکامل یافتهء دوره سامانی شمرد،  به دور افکند ، وطریقه ای جدید  پدید آورد. پژ
