Tool wear is a major problem in machining operations because the resulting material loss gradually changes of the machine tool. Leuconostoc bacteria was isolated from local pickled cabbage (Brassica oleracea capitata) and identified as Leuconostoc mesenteroides by morphology,biochemical and physiological.
