The jurisprudence of Imam Yahya bin Moin through his history
...Show More Authors

Jurisprudential rulings were not once restricted to anyone. Even if some prominent imams were famous in one science, this does not mean that some of them were not very knowledgeable and well versed in another science, but he did not know much about it, given his fame in the first science in which he emerged. It prevailed over him until he became known only through him, and there are a large number of these people, and among them is our imam, the great critic Yahya bin Ma’in, may God be pleased with him. Many people, and even scholars, know about him except that he is the only imam in jarh and ta’deel, and on his words and the words of his strike are relied upon. In terms of the authenticity and weakness of the hadith, he is in this field the most famous and knowledgeable of fire, and in this field he is the first in it. The insult has meaning, as his words in this art are like cold water to the thirsty person

And the cool Katsim in the days of spring.

This is what is known about the Imam of al-Jarh wal-Ta'deel. As for him being a great jurist and scholar who is diligent, this is what most people do not know. However, he had his own ijtihad, even if they were not as numerous as is the case for the imams of ijtihad and fatwas in terms of number, but he had them. Opinions on a number of jurisprudential issues, and if this indicates anything, it indicates that he worked diligently within a limited scope, given that most of his attention was directed to knowledge.

The first one in which he excelled and emerged was wounding and modification.

This came to my mind and came to my mind to conduct a jurisprudential study of his opinions, after I learned that his book, known as the History of Ibn Ma’in, contains some jurisprudential opinions. This was when I read the book Explanation of the Causes of Al-Tirmidhi. The investigator mentioned in his talk about the most important books in knowing the causes, And Al-Jarh and Al-Ta'deel, so he mentioned that in this book there are some jurisprudential opinions that express the opinion of the jurists of the people of Kufa, then he quoted some of those without mentioning that he was a jurist, so I returned to the history of Ibn Ma'in with a narration.

Isolation and Characterization of Triterpenoid Saponin Hederacoside C. Present in the Leaves of Hedera helix L. Cultivated in Iraq
...Show More Authors

Hedera helix L. plant belongs to the family Araliaceae that provide a host of bioactive compounds (mainly saponins) of important biological activities, like spasmolytic, secretolytic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial activities. Literature survey revealed that there was no previously study concerning H. helix L. which is cultivated in Iraq, so we decided to carry out this study which include extraction, isolation, purification and identification of biologically important triterpenoid saponin hederacoside C from leaves of H. helix L. Extraction of hederacoside C was carried out using two methods; in the first method maceration  was done with methanol 99.8% and in the second method soxhlet extraction wit

Synthesis, Characterization of Chitosan para- hydroxyl Benzaldehyde Schiff Base Linked Maleic Anhydride and the Evaluation of Its Antimicrobial Activities
...Show More Authors

Current research included preparation, characterization of some new chitosan- hydroxy benzaldehyde-Schiff bases with maleic anhydride. The present study aimed to the synthesis and characterization of novel chitosan Schiff base compounds using para- hydroxy benzaldeh and maleic anhydride. The  derivative of the  schiff-chitosan base, which is associated with different drugs, has been replaced with   different  amino  and  hydroxy  drugs.  The derivative is characterized by different analytical techniques. The results of FT-IR studies clearly indicate construction of the chief amine group in chitosan and the emergence of new bands that correspond to the association of maleic anhydride with the chitosan base. Effect of several patterns of floating stone columns on the bearing capacity and porewater pressure in saturated soft soil
...Show More Authors

One of the common geotechnical problems is the construction on soft soil and the improvement of its geotechnical properties to meet the design requirements. A stone column is one of the well-known techniques used to improve the geotechnical properties of soft soils. Sometimes thick layers of soft soil imposed the designer to use floating stone columns for improvement of such soil; in this case, the designer will be lost the end bearing of the stone column. In this study, the effects of several patterns of floating stone columns distribution under footing on the bearing capacity of soil and the distribution of excess porewater pressure are investigated. The soft soil used in this study has a very low undrained shear strength (cu) of

The reliability of using light therapy compared with LASER in pain reduction of temporomandibular disorders: a randomized controlled trial
...Show More Authors
Abstract
<title>Background

Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) refer to a group of symptoms where pain is the most leading cause to demand a treatment by the patient. Light therapies are of great importance at current times due to its biosafety and non-invasive quality when used for the management of TMD symptoms. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of red LED light with low-level LASER in treating TMD patients.

Materials and methods

A double-blind randomized clinical study was conducted and included 60 patients along 3 groups (20 for e

Analytical Methods for the Identification of Pigments in Tattoo Inks and Some of Their Physiological Side Effects: A Review
...Show More Authors

In this review, numerous analytical methods to distinguish pigments in tattoo, paint, and ink items are discussed. The selection of a method was dependent upon the purpose, e.g., quantification or identification of pigments. The introductory part of this review focuses on describing the importance of setting up a pigment-associated safety profile. The formation of different degradation chemical substances as well as impurity trends can be indicated through the chemical investigation of pigments in tattoo products. It is noteworthy that pigment recognition in tattoo inks can work as a preliminary method to identify the pigments in a patient's tattoo before being removed by laser therapy. Contrary to the stud

Prediction of Trips Attraction to the Central Business District of Al Nasiriyah City Utilizing an Artificial Neural Network Model
...Show More Authors

Estimation of trip attraction and analyzing its main influencing factors are powerful for offering different classifications for business districts and presenting recommendations for improving attractiveness in long term. This is beneficial for designing transportation facilities and infrastructures. The paper presents the prediction of trip attraction using an artificial intelligence technology due to the profits that the technology can possess in shortening time, lowering expenses and saving effort. The new model has utilized six input parameters that have not been considered previously within the area of Nasiriyah city including; age and educational level of the passengers, mode of transport that the passengers use, purpose of the trip,
