The current research aims at knowing the impact of the mind-clearing method in teaching second year intermediate students “reading book”. To achieve the study objective, the researchers intentionally chose Arjwan middle school, located in Baghdad Directorate of Education Al-Rusafa/2, which includes five classes for the second intermediate class. Division (A) was chosen randomly to represent the experimental group, which is taught in the mind-clearing method, while Division (B) represented the control group, which is taught in the traditional way. This paper deals with the ideological positioning of the English poet John Donne in a selected poems of his i.e Holy Sonnet X, as regards the theme of death found therein. The researchers adopt an emerging branch of stylistics, called Critical Stylistics, as proposed by Jeffries (2010) in order to uncover the ideologies of the author regarding the topic concerned and how linguistic choices are used to slant ideas. The model is comprised of ten tools of analysis which, upon being applied to the selected data, have shown how the poet exploits language resources in order to pass his ideology and influence his readers. In this paper, the workings of only one tool are presented as applied to a certain portion of the data.

The prey population is supposed to be separated into two groups: susceptible and infected. This work presents a computer studying to simulate the charging process of a dust grain immersed in plasma with negative ions. The study based on the discrete charging model. The model was developed to take into account the effect of negative ions on charging process of dust grain.
The model was translated to a numerical calculation by using computer programs. The program of model has been written with FORTRAN programming language to calculate the charging process for a dust particle in plasma with negative ion, the time distribution of a dust charge, number charge equilibrium and charging time for different value of ηe (ratio of number density of electron to number density of positive ion).
