...Show More Authors

Research summary

Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family and companions until the Day of Judgment.

As for after:

It is the right of every nation to take care of its scientific heritage, and to reveal its human civilizational impact, and the Arabs are the richest nations in heritage, as they had in every period of time a sign and pride, the Arabs fulfilled their duty towards humanity, and they carried out a large part of their scientific activity towards humanity.

Therefore, highlighting some of the scientific aspects of the civilized activity of the Arabs, and removing some of the illusions spread by some malicious people, is a human duty before it is a national duty.

In order to achieve the truth, and to highlight the human scientific activity of the Arabs, I wanted to shed light on the contributions of the Arabs in one of the pure sciences, which is the science of algebra, in this research tagged:

(Contributions of Arab scholars in the science of algebra).

In it, I focused on the historical role of the Arabs without elaborating on the details of the theories of algebra. This research included three topics:

The first topic: the definition of algebra and its historical roots.

The second topic: Al-Khwarizmi's efforts in the science of algebra.

The third topic: the most famous Arab scientists and their efforts in the science of algebra.

Then the conclusion of the research, which included the most important results and recommendations.

God grants success.

Study the Catalytic Activity of CeO2 Catalyst for the Oxidative Degradation of Orange G Dye in Aqueous Solution
...Show More Authors

The oxidative degradation of Orange G dye by nanosized CeO2 catalyst has been performed in this study. The catalyst was prepared by precipitation method. Various characterization techniques were carried out to study the physical and chemical properties of the synthesized catalyst. The XRD result confirms well the formation of CeO2 cubic phase.  The FTIR result showed the effect of calcination temperature for CeO2 was clearly observed due to reduction in band intensity compared to uncalcined Ce nitrate sample. Meanwhile, the diffused reflection spectra recorded reflection spectra at 414 nm with an energy gap of 3.2 ev. The decolorization of Orange G dye by oxidation process were carried out  unde

Soil is considered one of the main factors of subsidence phenomena which
became continually happen in Baghdad (Ghazalia, Ameria, and Hay al-Amyl)
causing bad effects as shortage of drinking water, traffic jam and formation
swamps.
This thesis depends on soil study to a depth 15 meters, due to its
importance in subsidence. This done through specifying its chemical physical
properties.
Soil within Iraq climate, in case of water stopping for any reason it contract
and shrink away especially when it exposed to high pressure these factors
finally caused subsidence. In case of leakage underground water or that of
damaged water pipes this will contribute to chemical reactions which damage soil
structure and incr

THE EFFICIENCY OF MICROBIOLOGY IN THE PROCESS OF PESTICIDE BIODEGRADATION
...Show More Authors

This study aims at recognizing Pesticides and how the process of pesticides biodegradation by microbiology took place, and the effect of environmental condition on this process. And how the research uncovered the efficiency of microbiology in the biodegradation process of pesticides, as the perfect temperature for the biodegradation process is 40 °C and humidity effect on pesticides efficiency, when high humidity reduces pesticide efficiency and the perfect acidity to increase bacteria efficiency is 7, for the incubation period, it was found during the previous studies that the best incubation period is 5-7 days, in this period the bacteria imprint on pesticides and increase biodegradation of it.
