Abstract

This research’s goal is to  restore and to revive the jurisprudence of  Mother of Believers (Um alMuaamineen) “Um Salmah” "may God bless her", and to highlight her outstanding assimilation and understanding of religion and her conscious thought.  The current research is a comparative scientific theoretical study  represented in the comparison of  jurisprudence of “Um Salamah” with Hadiths  of  fasting  and pilgrimage rules as well as the duration  mentioned in jurisprudence  of  for doctrines( 4 schools of thought )to identify these hadiths with the inclusion and discussion of their evidence.

The current research included two topics: the first one is to identify and introduce Mother of the Believers, “Um Salmah”, "may God bless her", and her husbands, her children, her elders, her students, her narrations, her death, as well as jurisprudence of her narrations agreed upon in the Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslm in respect to fasting, Hajj( pilgrimage) and the duration.

As for the jurisprudence of  her narrations and her  opinion upon the fasting person becoming impure (junub), with the validity of his fasting , he may delay washing  until morning if he has an excuse or complains of illness. In respect to “ Udah” ( Sharia duration) and mourning for the deceased husband, she should quit adornment, eyeliner, wearing jewelry, pigmentation, perfume, and in the waiting period of a pregnant woman whose husband dies, ends with the birth giving .

Resveratrol Administration Ameliorates Hepatotoxicity in Mercuric Chloride-‎Induced Liver Injury in Rats
...Show More Authors

Mercuric chloride (HgCl2) pollution and poisoning has been a worldwide health ‎concern for decades, especially after the industrial revolutions. The aim of this study ‎was to investigate the role of resveratrol in reversing the deleterious effects of ‎HgCl2 exposure to resume the normal functions of hepatocyte. To achieve the study, ‎mature Sprague Dawley rats were assigned to five groups. Negative control group ‎‎(C) kept without any treatment; vehicle-treated group (D) received dimethyl ‎sulfoxide (DMSO); resveratrol-treated group (R), received 100 mg/kg of resveratrol; ‎HgCl2-intoxicated group (HD), received i.p. injection of HgCl2 at a dose of 1 mg/kg ‎for 30 consecutive days along to oral gavage of DMSO; and finally H

Aquatic Oligochaeta (Annalida:Clitellata) as Bio Indication for Sediment Quality Assessment in Tigris River Within Baghdad City /Iraq
...Show More Authors

Aquatic Oligochaeta is an important group of Macroinvertebrates that has been very remarkable as bioindicators for assessing water pollution and determining its degree in water bodies. Hence, the idea of the current study aims at studying the impact of Baghdad effluents on the Tigris River by using oligochaetes community as bioindicators . For this purpose, four sites along the inside of Baghdad has been chosen. Site S1 has been located upstream, site S2 and S3 has been at midstream and site S4 at the downstream of the River. This investigation has used different types of biological indicators, including the  percentage of oligochaeta  within benthic invertebrates, which ranged from 49.2-51.28%. The highest percentage of the tubificid w

Reading Difficulties in English as a Second Language in Grade Five at a Saint Patrick’s High School for Boys, Hyderabad- India
...Show More Authors

Reading is one of the essential components of the English language. Countries that use English as a second language (ESL) sometimes have difficulties in reading and comprehension. According to many researches, mother tongue has proved some interferences with learning a second language. This study investigated the results of reading difficulties of young second language learners in terms of accuracy, comprehension, and rate using the Neale Analysis of Reading Ability test. The study was carried out in one of the High Schools for Boys in Hyderabad, India and included Grade five, aged 10-12 years. In order to understand the reading difficulties of English as a second language, a qualitative approach was employed. Interview, reading tes

This study aims to design unified  electronic information system to manage students attendance in Lebanese French university/Erbil, as a system that simplifies the process of entering and counting the students absence, and generate absence reports to expel students who passed  the acceptable limit of being absent, and by that we can replace the traditional way of  using papers to count absence,  with  a complete electronically system for managing students attendance, in a way that makes the results accurate and unchangeable by the students.

In order to achieve the study's objectives, we designed an information syst

Dispersion in a Gas Filled Hollow Core Photonic Crystal Fiber
...Show More Authors

Hollow core photonic bandgap fibers provide a new geometry for the realization and enhancement of many nonlinear optical effects. Such fibers offer novel guidance and dispersion properties that provide an advantage over conventional fibers for various applications. Dispersion, which expresses the variation with wavelength of the guided-mode group velocity, is one of the most important properties of optical fibers. Photonic crystal fibers (PCFs) offer much larger flexibility than conventional fibers with respect to tailoring of the dispersion curve. This is partly due to the large refractive-index contrast available in the silica/air microstructures, and partly due to the possibility of making complex refractive-index structure over the fibe

The primary goal of the study is to practise some systematic strategies for foreign language instruction despite the fact that no single approach to language classroom instruction is inherently superior to others; instead the choice of an approach should be determined by the teacher, students, the subject matter, and the situation. The paper adopts certain strategies which may assist EFL teachers to excel in their work and continue their professional development. Hence, it is intended for language teachers who understand the value of good teaching and like to produce academically successful students. The study could also help college student teachers to acquire new strategies in order not only to succeed but also to excel in their learni

Adjectives in Shakespeare's Sonnets
...Show More Authors

The present paper studies the use of adjectives in Shakespeare's Sonnets (4, 5, 6, & 9), which are chosen randomly, on the three levels: grammar, lexis and conversation. It tackles adjectives as a literary term with presenting their forms and functions. The presentation is done according to the themes, their forms and functions in conversation, the adjectives are shown in this paper as for their forms, frequency and meanings in the sonnets and their effects on studying. The analysis is done according to Quirk et al. (1985) and Quirk and Greenbaum (1973). Then, all adjectives have been calculated in the sonnets. The results of the analysis have shown that compound adjectives which occurred (31) are used more than the Suffixation

Persuasive Language in Blurbs

Advertisement is a general phenomenon in our everyday life. In most cases, it is established for commercial purposes i.e. it is oriented for certain goals and waiting for results. One form of advertisement is a blurb. In this study, the researcher applies Fonton and Saint-Dizier (2010) and Hymes (1962) models on 23 blurbs. These two models are chosen on consideration of accounting grammatical categories and speech events respectively. The study tends to answer the following question: How do blurb’s writers exploit language to convince the reader to buy the intended book? Therefore, the aim of the study can be stated as analyzing the blurbs according to these two models and finding which category scores higher and serves in ad
