A rapid high sensitive and inexpensive economic method has been developed for the Determination of phenoxazine by using molecular spectrophotometry. The method is based on the oxidation of phenoxazine by potassium (meta)periodate in acidic medium. The oxidation conditions were selected to enhance the sensitivity and the stability of the pink colored species which shows an absorption maximum at 530 nm. The Beer’s law was obeyed for phenoxazine concentration range from 1 to 6 µg mL-1 with 0.003 µg mL-1 detection limit and provided variation coefficients between 0.4 to 1.7 %. Diyala Governorate was recently exposed to high flood waves discharged from Hemrin Dam. Since the dam was at its full capacity during the flood period, these waves were discharged to the Diyala River. Because of the reduction in Diyala River capacity to 750m³/s, the cities and villages on both sides of the river banks were inundated. The reclamation of makeup water is studied in terms of breakthrough time (i.e., the leakage of the cations). Makeup water was subjected to lab-scale ion exchangers of two types: strong acid cation and weak base anion exchanger. The experimental investigation was directed to study the ion exchanger performance in terms of four different parameters (i.e., copper concentration, total dissolved solids (TDS), feed rate and bed depth). Shoot tip of Actinidia chinensis plant were excised and sterilized with mercuric chloride (Hgcl2) at concentration 0.1% for 5 min, then cultured on MS medium supplemented with benzeladinine BA at concentration (0.0,0.5,1.0,2.0,2.5) mg/l in multiplication stage Moreover, indole butyric acid IBA at concentration (0.0, 0.5,1.0,2.0,4.0) mg/l and (0.0,0.5,1.0,2.0) mg/l on solid and liquid solution media respectively in rooting stage were studied.
