Euphemisms are advantageous in people’s social life by turning sensitive into a more acceptable ones so that resentful feelings and embarrassment can be avoided. This study investigates the ability of Iraqi English learners in using euphemistic expressions, meanwhile, raising their awareness and the faculty members in English teaching faculties regarding the relevance of discussing the topics that demand euphemisation. This study comprised three stages: initial test, explicit instruction with activities, and a final test for the students’ development in this domain.        يهدف هذا البحث الى تسليط الضوء على ظاهرة مهمة لا تخلوا منها معظم النتاجات التفسيرية، وهي ظاهرة النقد التفسيري، التي من خلالها يسلط المفسر الضوء على آراء المفسرين السابقين في تفسير آية أو مفردة من مفردات القرآن الكريم ثم التعقيب عليها كل بحسبه، ثم يعكف على بيان الدلالة الأوفق بحسب ما تجتمع عنده من قرائن.

تهتم الدراسة بالخصائص الكمية المتمثلة بالتركيب النوعي والعمري للسكان الاميين في محافظة بغداد على مستوى قضاء وحسب تعداد عام 1997، ومسح الامن الغذائي والهشاشة للأسرة في العراق لعام 2016، فضلا عن احصائيات الجهاز التنفيذي لمحو الامية لعام 2019، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على السكان الاميين من عمر عشر سنوات فأكثر وعلى الفئات العمرية العشرية، اوضحت الدراسة بأن نسبة النوع للسكان الاميين للأعوام الثلاثة قد جاءت منخفضة على
