Al-Si alloys which are widely used in engineering applications due to their outstanding properties can be modified for more enhancements in their properties. The study aims to identify the metamemory and perceptual speed among College students, the correlation between metamemory and perceptual speed among College students, and to which extend does metamemory contribute to perceptual speed among College students. This study was conducted from January to October 2014, the samples were
collected monthly from four stations in AL-Diwaniya River at AL-Diwaniya city.
Phytoplankton species which are diagnosed during study period are (506) and the
numbers of common types in four sites are (61). Bacillariophyceae is dominate on

A total of 28 birds were examined to investigate about the distribution of the nematode Hadjelia truncata among some members of the avian family Columbidae in Al-Diwaniya Province, Central Iraq. The percentages of the infection rate with this nematode were 27.27, 37.5, 14.28 and 0 in Columba livia, C. palumbis, Streptopelia decaocto, and S. turtur respectively.
