Functional displacement in Islamic ceramics: محمد جاسم العبيدي
...Show More Authors

The art of Islamic ceramics is considered one of the main pillars of the art of ceramics in the plastic arts, as his knowledge of what is presented in the Islamic arts intertwined in a special way. And the Islamic ceramics are indications of fertility and the rekindling of religious ties, controversy over them, and interpretation as additions to their vocabulary. Studies in the plastic arts began to empty the knowledge towards this direction, especially its relationship to the Arabic calligraphy and specifically the Islamic decoration, which derived the first aesthetic values from calling the artist Muslim pottery and potters to inviting the Arabic letter and Islamic decoration to indicate within the theory of "displacement" the aesthetic values of it, in order to advance the "displacement" role The real thing is in the construction of the word and the decorative text, at a time when many studies have been absent from showing the individuality of Arabic crafts and Islamic decoration with the plastic art system, specifically Islamic ceramics. Accordingly, studies have become, and it is more appropriate for them to examine the concept of beauty occurring in the circle of conditions that were demonstrated by the linear and decorative displacement in ceramics, thus creating the artistic profile. And enriching it with a high poetic sense of the high melody of the component performances, as it breaks and breaks all the patterns of tradition and rules, so that Islamic ceramics, through letters and decorative additions, become full of reading consisting of the spirituality of the Muslim artist, which transcends it to the world of Arabic crafts and Islamic decoration.
And since the decoration of ceramics, the geometry of Arabic calligraphy, the determination of the dimensions of the letters and the vocabulary of the decoration, which depend on according to certain proportions and derives their aesthetics from their geometrical creation, to give us the basis of the final form of the Kufic font, in its final form and its presence on the surfaces of pottery or ceramics that need a proportional scale, and here the work becomes formal form From the images of letters, but "displacement" began to produce the method that came with it and to complete everything related to this type of Arabic calligraphy and its decoration to announce that there was no fixed scale when adding it to the arts of ceramics. Especially the Islamic one.

The role of fiscal and monetary policy in stimulating Circular Economy in Iraq
...Show More Authors

The issue of the Circular Economy is not a new issue to several countries, especially the developed ones. Here in Iraq it is considered newly introduced, despite the few attempts to establish projects that concern recycling most of them were doomed to fail, due to two main reasons: the first one is the financial and administrative corruption widespread in all departments of the country, the second one is the priorities of public spending. It is well known that Iraq was subjected to two major attacks, the ISIS entry attack in 2014 to Iraq. ISIS occupied about a third of Iraqi lands which resulted in a collapse in oil prices, as Iraq depends almost entirely on oil revenues in its budget which is the second attack. This made the Iraqi governme

Corrosion Study of the Injection Equipments in Water in Al-Ahdeb Wells ‐Iraq
...Show More Authors

Water injection equipments such as pipelines, which are used in the second recovery of oil in the Al-Ahdeb wells, suffer from the corrosion in water during maintaining vacuum deoxygenated tower that used to decrease concentration of the dissolved oxygen gas in the water from 6.2-9.1 ppm to o.5 ppm. This study involved calculation the corrosion rates of the internal surfaces of the
pipelines either during operation of the vacuum unit or when the tower out of operation. Finally, find the solution by one of the following suggestions. In the first suggestion removal of the dissolved O2 from water is achieved by increasing the dosage of the oxygen scavenger (sodium sulphite). The second suggestion involves removing the dissolved O2 from w

Immunohistochemical Expression and Histopathological Role of CD47 in Colorectal Cancer in Iraqi Patients
...Show More Authors

Background: Bowel cancer is the most prevalent digestive system cancer and is the 4th largest cause of cancer-related death worldwide. In Iraq, colon and rectal cancer (CRC) is the 6th most common malignancy in males and the 5th in females. This cancer is sluggish in growth, which gives a window of opportunity to screen for both precursor lesions and early cancer. The Cluster of Differentiation 47 (CD47) protein is a type of transmembrane glycoproteins found on nearly all human cells, including non-hematopoietic and hematopoietic cells. CD47 promotes CRC growth by triggering angiogenesis and apoptosis of tumor cell. Objectives: To evaluate the immunohistochemical expression of (CD47) in various colorectal samples from Iraqi patients

Potentiality of LPS in Ameliorating the Histopathological Responses in Visceral Leishmaniasis‐Infected Mice
...Show More Authors
Objective

Visceral leishmaniasis is the second most fatal parasite illness worldwide, and it is the most severe type of leishmaniasis. LPS is a crucial chemical compound on the bacterial cell wall that the host recognizes and uses to launch an immune response to eliminate invasive infections.

Materials and Methods

Four concentrations of LPS were used to treat infected mice with visceral leishmaniasis (20, 40, 60, and 80 ng/mL). Differential cell count and phagocytic index tests were done, then the liver and spleen wer

Species Identification and Management of Root-Knot Nematodes in Tomatoes in Central Iraq
...Show More Authors

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is acknowledged worldwide as one of the major vegetable crops, as is the case in Iraq. This research in 2024 was designed to recognize the species of Root-Knot Nematode (RKN) in central Iraq, assess its distribution, and study the level of susceptibility of 5 tomato varieties (SPEEDY, GS-12, SUPER LUX, TALA, and JUDIVIS). Since there is a threat of chemical nematicides, a greenhouse study was performed to evaluate other control methods, such as the use of organic fertilizers and the extract of nettles (Urtica dioica). Root-knot nematode (RKN) species consisting of Meloidogyne incognita, M. arenaria, and M. javanica were found in Baghdad, while only M. incognita was found in Babil. Molecular identificati
