In this study, the concentration of radium and uranium in the samples radish leaves, radish stalk, onion leaves, onion stalk and garlic fruits were grown in arable soil in the Botanical Garden in the College of Science for women, and garlic in special plates, the soil was taken from the above at the beginning of November 2016 was studied by using CR-39 nuclear track detectors. The radium and uranium concentration varied from 0.023 to 0.052 and from 23.13 to 52.68 Bq/kg with an average value of 0.037 and 37.58 Bq/kg respectively. Fourteen morphologically varied Ricinus communis L. seeds were collected from different localities in Egypt, El-Sudan and Saudi Arabia. Seed morphology and ITS barcoding analysis were performed to assess their diversity and phylogenetic relationship. Sequence’s alignment of nrITS region from different accessions display high levels of genetic similarities. Cluster analysis could not group different accessions according to their geographical distribution. This study concluded detection of Toxoplasma gondii in milk, immunologically by using Elisa and nested PCR)nPCR (based on B1 gene, also to investigate the effect of toxoplasmosis, parity, breed and flock on some milk composition in the Iraqi local and Shami goats in the middle of Iraq. A total of 80 milk samples of the lactating goats were collected. Results of this study showed the prevalence of Toxoplasmosis was 21.25% and 28.75% by Elisa and nPCR respectively without significant differences. The sensitivity of Elisa was a low (30.43%) whereas the specificity was a high (82.45%). The degree of agreement estimated by Kappa coefficient revealed a slight agreement (0.14) between two methods.
