...Show More Authors

Addresses current research to the subject of metaphor as a field important in the design of industrial product, so it was a problem search: Does industrial product which is designed mainly to reflect the principle of metaphor role in receiving, and how the application of mechanisms theory correct as stipulated in institutions metaphor properly for this orientation in achieving those metaphors. What are the relations of reciprocity that influenced the establishment of the design and construction of the system for industrial product, the objectives of the research were standing on the interactive nature of the relations between the metaphor and the process of industrial product design? And identify strengths and weaknesses in the processes employing the principle of metaphor in the design process of the industrial product, by detecting the nature of metaphors and projections in this direction. After providing mechanisms detailed on the subject through the theoretical framework, eating researcher range of industrial products (cars) and discussed mechanisms employ the principles of metaphor in its various forms, the researcher to a range of results, including consistency requirements of functionality in industrial products, explicitly and compressor with features borrowed Nickname of it, which produced designs and hired elements in a harmonious and consistent with the formal construction of an alias of it.. As researcher conclusions alia, that the mystery and complexity of the receipt of the function a malfunction causing the deficiency in the aesthetic aspect of the product manufacturing based on the metaphor is, so it is essential that characterized the product is easy to use and simplicity with hiring good for advanced technology, on the other hand an interactive process between the product and the user another tributary imparted aesthetic values in the product derived from the functional efficiency of him

The risks of derivatives contracts and their reflections on the global financial crisis Analytical study in (Toronto – Dominion) bank
...Show More Authors

The research tacklets the role of risks arising from the excessive use of derivative contracts for trading in financial crises, including the recent global financial crisis in (2008) which is known the mortgage crisis.

In order to prove the hypothesis of the research, the risk index of derivative contracts has been chosed as expressed in the measure of (value at risk) to be the main field for testing the hypothesis of research. The duration of the contract  has been also chased  for (15) years between the years (2001- 2015), the period preceding the global financial crisis, while the second represents the period of time that followed. The research reached a number of conclusions, bu

Physiological and Hormonal Effects of Titanium Dioxide Nanoparticles on Thyroid Function and the Impact on Bodyweight in Male Rats
...Show More Authors

Fifty-four Sprague-Dawley albino adult male rats were classified into three main groups each of 18 rats treated for a particular duration (1,2, and 4) weeks respectively. Each group was subdivided into three subgroups each of six rats treated as follows; group (1) serve as normal control, group (2, and 3) intra-peritoneal treated with TiO2NPs (50,200) mg/kg respectively, body *weight of all rats was measured before and after the experiment, then rats were dissected at the end of each experiment and the weights of the thyroid was measured. The result showed a highly significant decrease (p<0.01) in thyroid gland weight, a highly significant increase (p<0.01) in body weights and TSH, while a highly significant decrease (p&

Measuring the efficiency of quality health services in the province of Karbala: Models using the Data envelopment analysis (DEA)
...Show More Authors

The research aims to measure  the efficiency of health services Quality  in the province of Karbala, using the Data Envelopment analysis Models in ( 2006). According to these models the degree of efficiency ranging between zero and unity. We estimate Scale efficiency  for two types of orientation direction, which are input and output oriented direction.

The results showed, according Input-oriented efficiency that the levels of Scale efficiency on average is ( 0.975), in the province of Karbala. While the index of Output-oriented efficiency on average is (o.946).

Numerical Investigation of Physical Parameters in Cardiac Vessels as a New Medical Support Science for Complex Blood Flow Characteristics
...Show More Authors

This study proposes a mathematical approach and numerical experiment for a simple solution of cardiac blood flow to the heart's blood vessels. A mathematical model of human blood flow through arterial branches was studied and calculated using the Navier-Stokes partial differential equation with finite element analysis (FEA) approach. Furthermore, FEA is applied to the steady flow of two-dimensional viscous liquids through different geometries. The validity of the computational method is determined by comparing numerical experiments with the results of the analysis of different functions. Numerical analysis showed that the highest blood flow velocity of 1.22 cm/s occurred in the center of the vessel which tends to be laminar and is influe

The study included 100 children from Baghdad who were randomly selected from different regions ranging in age from 9-12 years of both males and females. The current research was based on the interview and the completion of special forms prepared for this purpose. This age group was selected for the rare studies conducted on television advertising and limited to different sectors. Data on age and sex were documented, as the results of this study proved The afternoon period was the preferred period for watching the TV show in males, where it was 22%, while the morning period was the female favorite, and it was 23%. Anchusa strigosa - prickly alkanet from Boraginaceae grows in roadsides, and fields of a broad range of habitats from mediterranean woodlands, to steppe vegetation, to true desert. It is commonly known as" him him" or "lisan al thawr". Anchusa can withstand hard weather conditions and hence is widely cultivated. The color of its flowers can range from pure white to deep cobalt blue. Various parts of A. strigosa are used in traditional medicine for treating several diseases or symptoms, such as abdominal pain, bronchitis, cough, and diarrhea. The goal of this study was to examine the cytotoxic effect of the crude extract of A. strigosa roots and leaves and their fractions against various tumor cell lines: adenoc
