Aesthetics word word Allah in Kufic script design configurations: عادل سعدي فاضل السعدي

Taken the word the word God itself the task when the Muslim calligraphers because of its holiness and majesty and altitude, so take Calligraphers innovate in their design, which represents the images and forms experiencing them prolific artistic output to highlight the aesthetic value through the use of Kufic script which is one of the most prominent lines his susceptibility diversity decorative Add the possibility of extending the letters in different directions because of the vision calligrapher aesthetic and an investigation is required for the word of the design, so the researcher examined by dividing into four chapters,Was the first research problem and the importance and goals and identify the term, while the second chapter was divided into two sections was the first diversity formal configurations word Allah in Kufic script, this section on two axes, while the second section Fajss to the aesthetics of the word word Majesty design, and touched the researcher to the most important foundations that have been adopted to achieve Nlk aesthetics, the third chapter devoted to research procedures and analysis of the samples according to the principal researcher in the form set out that his research tool, and the fourth quarter was the findings, conclusions and recommendations and proposals.

Metadiscourse Markers in Linguistic Abstracts by American and Iraqi Students of English

Metadiscourse markers are means for organizing a writer’s information and create a connection with her/his readers. When students write, they usually focus on one type of these markers that is the interactive markers and belittling the use of the other type which is the interactional markers. That is to say, they emphasize on presenting and organizing their information only. Therefore, this study is conducted to bridge this gap. The researchers have selected 18 thesis abstracts. Nine of them are written by Iraqi students of English and the rest by American students. The aims of the study are to examine the types and sub-types of metadiscourse markers used by American and Iraqi students; investigate comparatively the impact of the metad

Theoretical calculation of internal conversion coefficients for multipole transitions in 88Sr nucleus

Internal conversion coefficients (ICC) and electron–positron pair conversion coefficients (PCC) for multipole transition of the core nucleus 88Sr have been calculated theoretically. The calculation is based on the relativistic Dirac–Fock (DF) solutions using the so called ‘‘Frozen Orbital’’ approximation, takes into account the effect of atomic vacancies created in the conversion process, covering a transition energies of 1–5000 keV. A large number of points were used to minimize any errors due to mesh-size effects. The internal conversion coefficients display a smooth monotonic dependence on transition energy, multipolarity and atomic shell. Comparing the values of PCC to ICC, it is interesting to note, that the energy dep

Corrosion Inhibition of Mild Steel by Curcuma Extract in Petroleum Refinery Wastewater

The inhibitor property of curcuma longa L. extract in different concentrations of simulated refinery wastewater (0.05% - 2% wt) and at various temperatures (30, 35 and 40 ˚C) was investigated using weight loss method. The results showed that the presence of about 1.2 % (v/v) of curcuma extract gave about 84% inhibition indicating its effectiveness on mild steel corrosion in simulated refinery wastewater, besides the adsorption process on the mild steal surface obeyed the Langmuir adsorption isotherm.

Some Physiological Changes of Metronidazole Used to Treat Giardia lamblia in Human

The study aimed to introduce the effect of Giardia lamblia infection on changes in
some biochemical parameters in serum of infected patients before and after treatment during a
period of one year, (from Feb, 2008 to Jan, 2009).
Samples of 50 infected patients who referred to Al-Kadimiyah Teaching Hospital,
were collected before and after 7 days of treatment.
The activity of liver enzymes (Gpt and Got) before treatment increased significantly as
it reached up to (8.47) u/L and 19.06 u/L, comparing with control values (6.455) u/L and
(8.39) u/L respectively. The activity of the enzymes decreased after treatment but the values
of Gpt and Got remained higher than the control values as reached 7-27 u/L, 11-64 u/L

Activity Evaluation of some Plant Extracted Oils in Controling of Algal Growth

This study includes isolation, purification, and identification of algae from the canal around Baghdad university Al-jadriah. Four unialgal cultures were obtained. These algal cultures included 3 species of cyanophyta ( Nostoc carneum, Westillopesis prolifica, Chroococcus turgidus), 1 species of chlorophyta (Chlorella vulgaris) . Different plants belonging to different families were collected and extracted for their oils which were Ricinus communis and Sesamum indicum (seeds), Matricaria chamomilla (flowers) .However, antialgal activity of the extracted oils were evaluated the isolated algae with 7 concentrations (0.09, 0.3, 0.5, 1, 10, 20 , 30) % using the agar wells diffusion method. Results showed that R. communis oil was more effecti

CALCAREOUS NANNOFOSSILS BIOSTRATIGRAPHY OF JADDALA FORMATION IN WELL (AJEEL-10), CENTRAL IRAQ

A detailed systematic study of calcareous nannofossils was carried out for the Jaddala Formation in (Aj-10) well, Central Iraq. Seventy one species belong to twenty four genera of calcareous nannofossils were identified including sixty two of them were previously named and nine species were identified for the first time and they would not be given names until more information is obtained in the future to support this identification.
It is a recorded of five biostratigraphic zone, which suggested the age of the Jaddala Formation to be of early to late Eocene. The recorded biozone includes the following: Reticulofenestra dictyoda (Deflandre in Deflandre & Fert, 1954) Stradner & Edwards, 1968 Partial Range Biozone (CNE 5); Discoa

Evaluation of the Anti-inflammatory of Leucaena leucocephala extracts in Experimental Rats.

A lot of previous studies are concerned with the evaluation of the anti-inflammatory activity of medicinal plants because it considered cheap and are believed to possess minimal side effects. Leucaena leucocephala didn’t evaluate globally for its anti-inflammatory effect yet though some of it’s already separated and identified secondary metabolites were studied and proved to exert many pharmacological activities besides their effect on lowering the pro-inflammatory cytokines like TNF-α and IL-6. So, there was an interest to evaluate the biological effect of Leucaena leucocephala as a novel anti-inflammatory agent was the first motivation to start an in vivo study using a rat population. The N-butanol and ethyl acetate extracts were cho

Glucose 6 phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency among neonates with hyperbilirubinaemia in western Iraq

Background: Glucose -6-phosphate (G6PD) deficiency seems to be a major cause of neonatal hyperbilirubinaemia. This study was carried out to determine the prevalence of G6PD deficiency among icteric neonates in western Iraq and to evaluate its association with hemolysis in neonatal jaundice.

Patients and Methods: All icteric neonates admitted to Al-Ramadi Maternity and Paediatrics hospital, Al-Anbar governorat, for the period from 1st Feb. to 1st Dec. 2006 were included in the study. Data collected from case records and includes age, sex, total serum bilirubin hemoglobin level, reticulocyte count, blood group and Rh of the mothers and neonates, direct coomb's test and peripheral smear. G6PD enzyme

Axillary Artery Injuries Surgical experience review in a single vascular trauma center

Background: Injuries to blood vessels are among the most dramatic challenges facing trauma surgeons because repair is often urgent, the surgeon has to decide between management options (open or endovascular), and gaining control and reconstructing a major arterial injury can be technically demanding .
Objective:,To analyze the cause of injury, surgical approach, outcome and complications of axillary artery injuries.
Methods A descriptive cross-sectional study on fifty patients at Ibn-Alnafees hospital in Baghdad from January 2005 to December 2010
Results Males were more commonly affected than female with ratio of 6.1:1. Most injuries were caused by bullet and shell (84%), followed by stab wounds (10%) and blunt trauma (6%). Pati
