Intellectual Reflections of the Cubical Arts on the Iraqi Contemporary Pottery Art: أحمد جعفر حسين
...Show More Authors

The current study discusses one of the most important modern schools in art, and it studies its impact on contemporary Iraqi art, particularly in the art of pottery because of its association to the utilitarian function. However, this study demonstrated that pottery is a unique art, which has exceeded the limits of this function. In addition, pottery has a great role in changing the view and understanding of it. Therefore, this art assists in achieving the concepts, philosophies, and values among other fine arts branches. The most prominent issues in this article is dealing with reflections of the cubical arts on the Iraqi contemporary pottery art by through the works of the most prominent contemporary artists such as (Saad Shakir, SHaniar Abdullah and Tariq Ibrahim). They are the finest potters who have been and continue to have a clear imprint in the history of contemporary Iraqi art.Cubism art is not a spur of the moment in Mesopotamia, but it has a long history and deep roots stretch since the time of our ancestors, the Sumerians, where the imprint is clear in this field. The researcher has present a model of the ceramic works of the Sumerians as this civilization replete with artistic and aesthetic achievements that we are proud of as an Iraqis and as a part of this legacy. Accordingly, it is not surprising when contemporary potters repeat the achievements of their ancestors but in contemporary and modern styles. It is continuing message passing from generation to a generation but in different methods. The first chapter discusses the research problem, importance and the aims of the study, boundaries, and determines the terms such as the ‘cubism’. Chapter two consist of two main topics, the first is (Introduction to Cubism), the second is (the cubical trend in the contemporary Iraqi pottery art). Chapter three included the procedures and methodology used and the research, community and the selection of the research sample, and then the sample’s analysis. The fourth chapter represents the most important conclusions such as: The results shows that the artwork produced by the potters (SaadShakir and Haniar Abdullah Tariq Ibrahim) have contemporary and geometric cubical style in its theme. They have done this in deliberately manner to give the regularity and harmony as a specific feature of each of them. The results also show that all the artworks have an existence of a common factors in terms of the external configuration, but they are differ in the idea and the extent of their impact in the delivery to the receiver, where the artwork consists of a social, utilitarian and/or aesthetic functions. In the end, I have listed the recommendations and a list of resources.

The effect of solar cells distribution on the Performance of solar panel
...Show More Authors

Three different distribution modules of silicon solar cells in a panel are used in this study . Each module consists of five identical circular silicon solar cells of radius (5cm) and then the total panel areas are identical. The five solar cells are arranged in the panel in different shapes: circular, triangular and rectangular .The efficiency for these three panel distribution are measured indoor and outdoor. The results show that the efficiency is a function of the cells distribution.

The effect of thickness on the optical properties of Cu2S thin films
...Show More Authors

In this work, the optical properties of Cu2S with different thickness
(1400, 2400, 4400) Ǻ have been prepared by chemical spray pyrolys
is method onto clean glass substrate heated at 283 oC ±2. The effect
of thickness on the optical properties of Cu2S has been studied. It
was found that the optical properties of the electronic transitions on
fundamental absorption edge were direct allowed and the value of the
optical energy gap of Cu2S (Eg) for direct transition decreased from
(2.4-2.1) eV with increasing of the thickness from (1400 - 4400)Ǻ
respectively. Also it was found that the absorption coefficient is
increased with increasing of thicknesses. The optical constants such<

Effect of the Silver Nanoparticles on the Histology of Albino Mice Ovaries
...Show More Authors

The aim of study is to identify the histological changes in ovaries of the albino mice exposed to silver nanoparticles. Sixty adult females were collected and exposures by 4000 p.p.m. and 50-150 nm in size, Females were divided into 3treated groups. The concentration dosage was (1, 1.5 and 2) p.p.m. of silver nanoparticles for 7, 14 and 21 days as exposure periods as well as control group which treated by normal saline. Treated groups appeared different histopathological changes, it is depending on the concentration of silver nanoparticles and the period of exposure. These changes were included congestion in the blood vessels, hemorrhage, hyaline degeneration, fatty degeneration, pyknosis, necrosis as well as fusion of cells in follicula

The effect of increasing temperature on the sensitivity of photonic crystal fiber
...Show More Authors

Photonic Crystal Fiber Fabry–Perot Interferometers (FPI) based on Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) was investigated in this paper in order to detect changes in photonic crystal fiber sensitivity with increasing temperature. FPI is composed of a PCF (ESM-12) solid core spliced with a single-mode fiber (SMF) on one side and a 40nm thick gold Nano film on the other. In order to obtain the SPR curve, the end of PCF can be spliced with the side of SMF before covering the gold film on the PCF. SPR results are included in the suggested sensor, based on the conclusions of the investigations. Resolution (R) is 0.0871, Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) is 0.1867, a figure of merit (FOM) is 0.0069, and sensitivity (S) is 1.1481 . This sensor proposed is s

Evaluation the Effect of Vibration on the Corrosion Rate of Automotive Paints
...Show More Authors

This paper studies the influence of temperature on the corrosion rate of coated AA6111 aluminum alloy used in vehicle bodies under static and vibration states. The vibration test system was collected laboratory and used for testing of five different types of paints (EASI, Numix, Lesonal, DENSO and Polaron paints) in the 5 % NaCl solution using immersion test method. Lesonal paint provided the best corrosion protection, while DENSO paints show large values of corrosion rate, other coatings exhibit moderate values. Model of paints corrosion was developed to characterize the corrosion processes occur at the surfaces. It is found that corrosion rate obtained at vibration cases is larger than static cases and vibration effect

Research on Emotion Classification Based on Multi-modal Fusion
...Show More Authors

Nowadays, people's expression on the Internet is no longer limited to text, especially with the rise of the short video boom, leading to the emergence of a large number of modal data such as text, pictures, audio, and video. Compared to single mode data ,the multi-modal data always contains massive information. The mining process of multi-modal information can help computers to better understand human emotional characteristics. However, because the multi-modal data show obvious dynamic time series features, it is necessary to solve the dynamic correlation problem within a single mode and between different modes in the same application scene during the fusion process. To solve this problem, in this paper, a feature extraction framework of
