This work introduces a new electrode geometry for making holes with high aspect ratios on AISI 304 using an electrical discharge drilling (EDD) process. In addition to commercially available cylindrical hollow electrodes, an elliptical electrode geometry has been designed, manufactured, and implemented. The principal aim was to improve the removal of debris formed during the erosion process that adversely affects the aspect ratio, dimensional accuracy, and surface integrity. This study was conducted in the poultry field of the Department of Animal Production/ College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences / University of Baghdad for the period from 42 days. Aiming to know the effect of using shrimp waste powder (Metapenaeus Affinis) and enzyme in broilers diet on physiological and microbial performance and indicators of fat oxidation in meat. 250 one-day-old ROSS308 chicks were used. The chicks were fed on diets containing shrimp waste treated with enzyme and not treated with protease enzyme by 0,4,6 %. Dust samples have been collected from three areas in Baghdad during dust storm occurred in 18th of June 2009 to characterize elemental particle size and composition by different techniques. The x-ray diffraction detected six minerals those are calcite, and quartz, present as a major components, dolomite, kaolinite, gypsum and plagioclase present as miner components .EDX detected some normal elements presented in local soil except traces of lead , nickel, and chromium.
