Figurative Structuring Systems in the Optical Art: ندى عايد يوسف

Through the history of art movements, abstraction has been rotating between appearance and disappearance, mounting and stillness while its performances differed between reduction and simplification on the one hand and between the use of chromatographic and linear abstraction on the other. As a result, to what is mentioned, abstraction has appeared in many different artistic forms underlying the systematicity of the plastic art history.However, according to a contemporary point of view that comes up with the scientific revolution, the art of optical deceiving (illusion) appeared to find a hybrid art form that locates between the geometricity of abstraction and the scientific, visual and psychological foundations that are linked with the intellectual transformations.Consequently, modern strategies and styles appeared. Those are involved in relations with the eye physiology and mind perceptions and those contribute creating figurative changes in the map of the optical formation that by turn leads to a multiplicity of readings. Therefore, this research, ' The Figurative Structuring Systems in the Optical Art', studies the figurative systems, their relations and their founding references.This paper includes four chapters. The first chapter deals with the problem of the research and its aim that is all about uncovering the figurative structuring systems in the visual art relying on some related art works.Chapter two includes four sections deal with defining the concept of the optical art along with stating the founding references of the figurative system via studying the mathematical, physiological and physical systems. Chapter three, however, includes the analysis of the samples while the fourth chapter deals with the most important results that have been reached

Annealing temperature effect on the structural and optical properties of thermally deposited nanocrystalline CdS thin films

A nanocrystalline CdS thin film with 100 nm thickness has been prepared by thermal evaporation technique on glass substrate with substrate temperature of about 423 K. The films annealed under vacuum at different annealing temperature 473, 523 and 573 K. The X-ray diffraction studies show that CdS thin films have a hexagonal polycrystalline structure with preferred orientation at (002) direction. Our investigation showed the grain size of thin films increased from 9.1 to 18.9 nm with increasing the annealing temperature. The optical measurements showed that CdS thin films have direct energy band gap, which decreases with increasing the annealing temperature within the range 3.2- 2.85 eV. Studying the effect of annealing on some electrical and optical properties for thin CdS , CdS:In films

In the present work we prepared heterojunction not homogenous CdS/:In/Cu2S) by spray and displacement methods on glass substrate , CdS:In films prepared by different impurities constration. Cu2S prepared by chemical displacement method to improve the junction properties , structural and optical properties of the deposited films was achieved . The study shows that the film polycrystalline by XRD result for all film and the energy gap was direct to 2.38 eV with no effect on this value by impurities at this constration .

A Study of the Structural and Optical Properties of SnS:F prepared by chemical spray pyrolysis technique

Structural, electrical and optical properties of CdS thin films and the effect of annealing on photoconductivity

Cadmium sulfide (CdS) thin films with n-type semiconductor characteristics were prepared by flash evaporating method on glass substrates. Some films were annealed at 250 oC for 1hr in air. The thicknesses of the films was estimated to be 0.5µ by the spectrometer measurement. Structural, morphological, electrical, optical and photoconductivity properties of CdS films have been investigated by X-ray diffraction, AFM, the Hall effect, optical transmittance spectra and photoconductivity analysis, respectively. The optical properties of Poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA) polymers doped by Potassium Iodide with different thickness

Films of pure Poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) doped by potassium iodide (KI) salt with percentages (1%) at different thickness prepared by casting method at room temperature. In order to study the effect of increasing thickness on optical properties, transmission and absorption spectra have been record for five different thicknesses(80,140,210,250,320)µm. The study has been extended to include the changes in the band gap energies, refractive index, extinction coefficient and absorption coefficient with thickness.
