The Technical Treatment for Pottery Body by (Kintsugi) Technique in Japanese Pottery – Analytic Study

The aesthetic and technical expertise help  in producing the artistic work and achieving results in aesthetic formulations that reflect the aesthetic and  expressive dimensions and the reflective dimensions of the pottery, surpassing its traditions, asserting  its active presence in life, cherishing it  even when it  breaks  or get damaged   by employing techniques that are originated  from  the Japanese environment.

                       The research problem is to study how ( Kintsugi) technique and similar techniques are used to create  new rebirths of pottery pieces after being exposed  to external influences that cause them to break in addition to the presence of Japanese thought as a pressurizing incentive to maintain the permanence of the porcelain and cherishing it. The research is important as a reference to the technology of contemporary pottery, enriching the library, and as a source for the scholars and researchers in the field of Japanese pottery.

            The aim of the research is to identify how the (Kintsugi) technique was used in facing the stresses exerted on the ceramic pieces and the pressurizing thought that motivates it. The research is concerned with the Japanese porcelain products (which was subjected to stress that cause it to break) and treating it by the (Kintsugi) technique.  The results showed how the (kintsugi) technique and the techniques derived from it worked in   reconstructing the ceramic pieces and creating  new entities to meet the pressure of the (wabi-sabi) philosophy, which accepts things with their defects after being subjected to the constant change of status as a characteristic of existence. Theoretical Model for Spectroscopic Study of Cu+2, Co+2, and Fe+3 Dissolved in Ethanol with A Different Concentrations

The absorption spectrum for three types of metal ions in different concentrations has been studying experimentally and theoretically. The examination model is by Gaius model in order to find the best fitting curve and the equation controlled with this behavior. The three metal ions are (Copper chloride Cu+2, Iron chloride Fe+3, and Cobalt chloride Co+2) with different concentrations (10-4, 10-5, 10-6, 10-7) gm/m3. The spectroscopic study included UV-visible and fluorescence spectrum for all different concentrations sample. The results refer to several peaks that appear from the absorption spectrum in the high concentration of all metal ions solution.

The samples were characterized using powder XRD, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electrochemical polarization. It was also found that the coating was still stable after conducting the corrosion test: it contained no cracks and CoO–ZnO nanocomposites clearly appeared on the surface. Spectrophotometric method for the determination of Captopril in pharmaceutical formulations

A simple, rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of captopril in aqueous solution. The method is based on reaction of captopril with 2,3-dichloro 1,4- naphthoquinon(Dichlone) in neutral medium to form a stable yellow colored product which shows maximum absorption at 347 nm with molar absorptivity of 5.6 ×103 L.mole-1. cm-1. The proposed method is applied successfully for determination of captopril in commercial pharmaceutical tablets.
