The nuclear structure of  ⁴⁰Ar, ¹¹²Cd, ¹³³Cs, ¹⁵¹Eu, ¹⁵⁴Sm, and ²²⁶Ra target nuclei used in nuclear battery technology was investigated. These nuclei are widely used for the radioisotope thermo-electric generator space studies and for betavoltaic battery microelectronic systems.      In this research radon concentrations in soil samples of some sites of the College of Education for Women, University of Tikrit, were measured using CR-39 nuclear impact detector.       Mukdadiya Formation represents one of the formations that cover a huge area of Iraq. It contains several clastic deposits, such as sandstone, siltstone, and a noticeable amount of gravels. The gravels are considered as the hallmark to differentiate between Injana and Mukdadiya formations. Therefore, the current study focused on these facies to determine the petrography, paleontology , and origin of Mukdadiya deposits.
