The Formative Truth of the Dramatic Work between Direction and Production
...Show More Authors

Most of the theorists and researchers and also those interested in cinema and television attributed the fact of the existence of the dramatic works to the directors may be due to a historical justification. At the same time, the existence of the production world came as a result of the emergence of the production city (Hollywood). This is also a historic fact. The research would tackle all the formative truths to prove the relation and the timeline, i.e., before and after and the synergy that resulted in the existence of the dramatic works that benefited the humanity and those interested in this giving art. The objective of the research is to uncover the formative truth of the dramatic work between direction and production.

The study dealt with a theoretical foundation made of two sections: the first is (the historical controversy between the cinematic and television direction and production) and the second is (the formative truth of the existence of the dramatic works between direction and production). Throughout the research, important facts have been reached at, such as due to the fact that the formative start for the existence of the dramatic works was initiated by the producers, yet the directors were also present in that period of time. The role of the producer, who throughout the years helped both the directors and the humanity in general, and produces the best distinctive works in the ancient and modern history, cannot be ignored. The producer, as a result, is the one who illuminated the way and clarified the synergetic relation and the formative truth of the dramatic works between the direction and production.

Production, Extraction, and Purification of An Extracellular Melanin Pigment from Clinically Isolated Pseudomonas aeruginosa
...Show More Authors

Introduction: Melanin is a high-molecular weight pigment produced through the oxidative polymerization of phenolic or indolic compounds and plays a perfect role in UV-light shielding, as well as in photoprotection. Among biopolymers, melanin is unique in many aspects. This study is designed to screen Production, extraction and characterizes of an extracellular melanin pigment from clinically isolated P. aeruginosa. Objective: The aim of the current study is isolation and diagnosis of P.aeruginosa using vitek-2 compact system and screening the ability to produce melanin and characterization of extracted melanin by UV-vis, FTIR, XRD and SEM. Materials and methods: the samples swab inoculated on cetrimide agar as selective media and incubated

Efficiency of plant extracts on Aspergillus growth and aflatoxin B1 production in Zea mays
...Show More Authors

The detection of fungi contaminating maize grain and the effect of four plant extracts Azadirachta indica, Eucalyptus globulus Glycyrrhiza glabra and Zingiber officinale on the growth of A. flavus and its ability to produce AflatoxinB1. The results showed that the incidence of Aspergillus spp., was 52.75% of the isolated fungi, of which 29.50% was due to Aspergillus flavus, followed by Penicillium spp., with an incidence of 21.06%, and then Fusarium spp., with a rate of 18.13%. The percentage of toxin-producing A. flavus isolates reached 70.8% out of 24 isolates. The results showed the effect of alcoholic plant extracts at a concentration of 10 mg/ml on the fungal growth activity of A. flavus, the alcoholic extract of neem leaves was superi

Biosorption of Cd(II) ions by Chlorella microalgae: isotherm, kinetics processes and biodiesel production
...Show More Authors

This study aims to remove Cd(II) ions from simulated wastewater by using Chlorophyceae algae (CA). Different parameters were studied to show their effects on the biosorption efficiency of CA. These parameters are: the effect of pH 3-7, initial metal ion concentration 20-200 mg/L, sorbent dos-age 0.05-2 g/L, contact time 5-180 min, and agitation speed 100-300 rpm. We found that both the Langmuir and Freundlich models appropriate for characterizing the metal removal process. The biosorption data fit best with the results of the pseudo-second-order kinetic model, demonstrating that the chemisorption process is the dominant mechanism controlling the removal. CA was char-acterized using the scanning electron microscopy test, prior to and post bi

...Show More Authors

The present study was conducted to estimate the antimicrobial activity and the potential biological control of the killer toxin produced byD. hanseniiDSMZ70238 against several pathogenic microorganisms. In this study, the effects of NaCl, pH, and temperature, killer toxin production, and antimicrobial activity were studied. The results showed that the optimum inhibitory effect of killer toxin was at 8% NaCl, and the diameters of clear zones were 20, 22, 22, 21, 14, and 13 mm forStaphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Candida albicans, andCandida neoformans, respectively. The largest inhibition zones were

The association between polymorphism of TCF7L2 gene rs12255372 G/T and type 2 diabetes mellitus in Iraqi women suffering from menopause
...Show More Authors

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) became the most prevalent health problem. Almost half of the world's people are ignorant that have diabetes. Menopause occurs as an important alteration in women through which take place the change in sex hormones, distribution in fat،s body, and metabolism, altogether which participate in the metabolism disease such as type 2 diabetes mellitus. Several studies have appeared the association between the TCF7L2 gene and different diseases like type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). This study aimed to detect the relation of the genetic variation polymorphism for the TCF7L2 gene (rs12255372 G/T) in Iraqi women menopausal with T2DM. The outcomes indicated the increased levels of biochemical characteristics including H

Production of Light Weight Foam Concrete with Sustainable Materials
...Show More Authors

Most of the recent works related to the construction industry in Iraq are focused on investigating the validity of local raw materials as alternatives to the imported materials necessary for some practical applications, especially in thermal and sound insulation. This investigation includes the use of limestone dust as partial substitution of cement in combination with foam agent and silica fume to produce sustainable Lightweight Foam Concrete (LWFC). This study consists of two stages. In the first stage, trial mixes were performed to find the optimum dosage of foam agent. Limestone dust was used as a partial replacement for cement. Chemical analysis and fineness showed great similarity with cement. Many concrete mixes were prepared

Production of peptide antibiotic bacteriocin using banana peel media
...Show More Authors

Many strains of lactic bacteria produce antimicrobial peptides of bacteriocins that are antibiotics used against pathogenic strains. The present work aimed to use a banana peels medium in the fermentation process to replace the commercial MRS medium for decreasing the cost of bacteriocins LAB production. Based on the result, banana peel was a cost-effective and viable alternative carbon source for the production and development of bacteriocin-producing Lactobacilli. The growth of lactobacilli in commercial MRS medium and Banana Peel medium showed no differences, therefore banana peel waste can be used to produce Lactobacilli bacteriocins. Lactobacillus strains grew exceptionally well at 37 C and pH 6.0.
