In the  present  work  , the a2 - ratio  method  has  been used  to calculate the multipole mixing  ratios , 5 - values • of y - transitions from excited levels of deformation  nucleiL-. ( 152Sm ) .

The results obtained confirm the validity of this method in calculating the o - values .

The  present  results are in good  agreement  with  those  of the experimental  results,   ref.( I ,2)  , and   of  theoretical   results   using interaction  boson model (IBM-I) ,ref. (5).

Age and growth of a population of Varicorhinus trutta (Heckel) from Tigris river at Salahuldin province have been investigated during the period from September 1999 to August 2000. A total of 156 fishes were collected from two stations at Tigris river using small meshed gill nets. This study is to evaluate plasma levels of several cytokines in preeclamptic pregnancies compared to those of healthy pregnancies. Ninety pregnant women with preeclampsia (37 mild & 53 severe) and thirty healthy pregnant women were enrolled in the study. Blood samples were taken and plasma levels of IL-8, IL-10, and IFN-? were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Preeclamptic women and their severe cases but not mild cases had significantly (P<0.05) increased levels of plasma IL-8, and IFN-? as compared with healthy pregnancies.
