            A laboratory experiment was carried out during winter season of 2021 in the Seed Technology Laboratory- College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences/ University of Baghdad, to find out the allopathic effects of aerobic and terrestrial aqueous extracts of Artemisia vulgaris L. on the seed germination and seedling growth of linseed. This study aimed at some of the criteria used to determine the form of the river basins, and exposed the need to modify some of its limitations. In which, the generalization of the elongation and roundness ratio coefficient criterion was modified, which was set in a range between (0-1). This range goes beyond determining the form of the basin, which gives it an elongated or rounded feature, and the ratio has been modified by making it more detailed and accurate in giving the basin a specific form, not only a general characteristic.     This work is an experimental study conducted to study the effects of iron oxide dust particles (Fe₂O₃) on the characteristics of DC discharge plasma in argon gas under vacuum. Electron temperature ( ) and electron density (n_e) were calculated by Boltzmann plots and Stark broadening, respectively. The results show that both the electron density and plasma frequency ( ) increased with the operating pressure. While,  and Debye length ( ) decreased with pressure. The glow discharge is more stable with the Fe₂O₃-dust particles; all dust plasma parameters have lower values  than those of the dust-free plasma.

  This research presents the results of the tests of the physical, chemical and biological treatments performed on the industrial effluent of Al-Rashid Factory for vegetable oils during January to July, 2010.      Some environmental parameters such as temperature, electrical conductivity(ec), Biological oxygen demand(bod), chemical oxygen demand(cod), total suspended solids(tss), dissolved oxygen(o2) and total dissolved solids(tdc) have been investigated. The ceramic compound Mg1-xSixAl2O4 (x= 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4) was prepared from nano powder of Al2O3 and MgO doped with Nano powder of SiO2 at different molar ratios. The specimens were prepared by standard chemical solid reaction technique and sintered at 1450 oC. Structure of the specimens was analyzed by using X-ray diffraction (XRD).
