This paper is devoted to investigate the effect of internal curing technique on the properties of self-compacting concrete. In this study, self-compacting concrete is produced by using limestone powder as partial replacement by weight of cement with percentage of (5%), sand is partially replaced by volume with saturated fine lightweight aggregate which is thermostone aggregate as internal curing material in three percentages of (5%, 10%, 15%) for self-compacting concrete, and the use of two external curing conditions which are water and air. Wisconsin Breast Cancer Dataset (WBCD) was employed to show the performance of the Adaptive Resonance Theory (ART), specifically the supervised ART-I Artificial Neural Network (ANN), to build a breast cancer diagnosis smart system. It was fed with different learning parameters and sets. The best result was achieved when the model was trained with 50% of the data and tested with the remaining 50%. Classification accuracy was compared to other artificial intelligence algorithms, which included fuzzy classifier, MLP-ANN, and SVM. We achieved the highest accuracy with such low learning/testing ratio.

The development of a reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography fluorescence method for the determination of the mycotoxins fumonisin B1 and fumonisin B2 by using silica-based monolithic column is described. The samples were first extracted using acetonitrile:water (50:50, v/v) and purified by using a C18 solid phase extraction-based clean-up column. Then, pre-column derivatization for the analyte using ortho-phthaldialdehyde in the presence of 2-mercaptoethanol was carried out. The developed method involved optimization of mobile phase composition using methanol and phosphate buffer, injection volume, temperature and flow rate. The liquid chromatographic separation was performed using a reversed phase Chromolith® RP-18e column
