Arabic calligraphy has great importance in the printing designs that are often on the written character-based to perform functional goals and to achieve some of the aesthetic values in design work, has led major developments in the field of computer manufacturing and design software for the design and layout to increase to deal with the programmed character for the purposes of typesetting has confronted this Find the Arab character programmed for the purposes of typesetting for the detection of the most important design interventions that underwent the Arabic letter written to turn it into a programmed image intended for the purposes of the printing and typesetting has been addressed in the context of which the theoretical types of Arabic calligraphy as a prelude to enter the back line of presenting the history and aesthetics and graphic character and methods of typesetting typesetting computer and then Turning the theoretical framework to the most important word processing and how to divide the design copies a character where programs, researcher has an inventory of the research community, which is (108) character drew them (19) characters sample deliberate analyzed has concluded a number of findings and conclusions including:

  1. lack of knowledge workers in the design of the character rules of Arabic calligraphy.
  2. The absence of the aesthetic and the flexibility and suppleness and cruise, which is characterized by the Arabic letter obscenities manually features.
  3. Failure to observe the design of processors used by the designer to address the letters in the designs, which caused a clear influence on the functional character.

The researcher offers a number of suggestions and recommendations to address the negatives reached by the results of his research

The study aimed to identify the degree of academic leaders practices at the University of Northern Border for creative leadership, which attribute to different variables (nature of work, employer, gender, years of experience in administrative work at the university). To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach survey. Therefore, the researcher used a questionnaire as a study tool, which consisted of (40) items that included dimensions (sensitivity to problems, initiative, originality, flexibility). The study sample consisted of (240) participants included (agents of colleges, and supporting deanships, and their employees) during the second semester of the academic year 1439/1440 AH. The Effect of Urban Form on Temperature for Hot Arid Zones. The Case Study of Baghdad, Iraq
...Show More Authors

The research aims to determine optimal urban planning and design indicators of the urban clusters form in hot arid zones through studying of three urban areas in Baghdad, analyzing their urban indicators which include floor area ratio (FAR), urban clusters height, building density or land coverage, green areas, paved areas, shading ratio and how they affect urban temperature. The research reached the conclusion that air outdoor temperature on urban areas affected primarily by shadows casted on the ground, the effect of shaded area equals (5) times the effect of paved areas and (3.7) times the effect of green areas, this means that increasing urban clusters height in hot arid zones could minimize air outdoor temperature, building

The development of new homogenous and heterogeneous catalytic processes for the treatment of low grade palm oil
...Show More Authors

Low grade crude palm oil (LGCPO) presents as an attractive option as feedstock for biodiesel production due to its low cost and non-competition with food resources. Typically, LGCPO contains high contents of free fatty acids (FFA), rendering it impossible in direct trans-esterification processes due to the saponification reaction. Esterification is the typical pre-treatment process to reduce the FFA content and to produce fatty acid methyl ester (FAME). The pre-treatment of LGCPO using two different acid catalysts, such as titanium oxysulphate sulphuric acid complex hydrate (TiOSH) and 5-sulfosalicylic acid dihydrate (5-SOCAH) was investigated for the first time in this study. The optimum conditions for the homogenous catalyst (5-SOCAH) wer

A Prediction Formula for The Estimation of Sediment Load in The Upper Reach of Al-Gharraf River
...Show More Authors

The presence of deposition in the river decreases the river flow capability's efficiency due to the absence of maintenance along the river. In This research, a new formula to evaluate the sediment capacity in the upstream part of Al-Gharraf River will be developed. The current study reach lies in Wasit province with a distance equal to 58 km. The selected reach of the river was divided into thirteen stations. At each station, the suspended load and the bedload were collected from the river during a sampling period extended from February 2019 till July 2019. The samples were examined in the laboratory with a different set of sample tests. The formula was developed using data of ten stations, and the other three s

Exploring the efficacy of sawdust ash as a mineral filler substitute for the production of asphalt mixtures
...Show More Authors

Many waste materials can be repurposed effectively within asphalt concrete to enhance the performance and sustainability of pavement. One of these waste materials is sawdust ash (SDA). This study explores the beneficial use of SDA as a substitute for limestone dust (LD) mineral filler in asphalt concrete. The replacement rate was 0%, 15%, 30%, 45%, and 60% by weight of total mineral filler. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was employed to assess the surface morphology of Sawdust (SD), SDA, and LD. In addition, a series of tests, including Marshall stability and flow, indirect tensile strength, moisture susceptibility, and repeated uniaxial loading tests, were conducted to examine the performance characteristics of asphalt mixtures of diffe

Cutoff Point Measurement of the waist circumference for the diagnosis of Metabolic Syndrome in Iraqi university students
...Show More Authors

Background: Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a collection of connected cardiovascular risk factors that characterizes the complicated illness. The waist circumference cutoff point fluctuation has so far defined Mets. Objective: This study aimed to determine the cutoff point for WC in healthy Iraqi adults. Methods: This cross-sectional survey establishes the standard value for WC among 300 healthy university students in Wasit city, Iraq. They are aged between 18-25 years. The receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve was used WC to predict the presence of two or more risk factors for MetS, as defined by IDF. Results: The cutoff level yielding maximum sensitivity and specificity for predicting the presence of multiple risk factors was
