Luxury in jewelry design
...Show More Authors

The current research dealt with the presence of ornaments and jewelry since ancient times، which express the social، religious or emotional status of the person who adorns them، in addition to being distinguished by a distinct aesthetic and luxury، that is، in a sense closely related to the social and economic status of people، and we note that jewelry is considered a symbol of luxury and luxury، and hence The need to study luxury appeared in the design of ornaments and jewelry because it refers to the adornment elements that are made of metals and precious stones، which actually indicate signs of status or position that distinguish social classes from each other. The problem was identified by the following question: Determine the effectiveness of luxury in the design of jewelry and jewelry? The research included two important topics. We will address them successively.

Below are some results and conclusions:
1. Luxury is of great importance in the field of distinguished and luxurious creativity of the industrial designer and industrial production institutions in the modern industrial world.
2. The emergence of luxury led to the fulfillment of the requests of users with trends and class of the velvet class of the rich، political figures، aristocratic classes and the global bourgeoisie.

Hypothetical Design of Carbon Nanotube Materials Based on [8]Circulene
...Show More Authors

B3LYP/6-31G, DFT method was applied to hypothetical study the design of six carbon nanotube materials based on [8]circulene, through the use of cyclic polymerization of two and three molecules of [8]circulene. Optimized structures of [8]circulene have saddle-shaped. Design of six carbon nanotubes reactions were done by thermodynamically calculating (Δ S, Δ G and Δ H) and the stability of these hypothetical nanotubes depending on the value of HOMO energy level. Nanotubes obtained have the most efficient gap energy, making them potentially useful for solar cell applications.

A proposed Mathematical Expression for Computer Design of Electrostatic Mirror
...Show More Authors

A computational investigation has been carried out on the design and properties of the electrostatic mirror. In this research, we suggest a mathematical expression to represent the axial potential of an electrostatic mirror. The electron beam path under zero magnification condition had been investigated as mirror trajectory with the aid of fourth – order – Runge – Kutta method. The spherical and chromatic aberration coefficients of mirror has computed and normalized in terms of the focal length. The choice of the mirror depends on the operational requirements, i.e. each optical element in optical system has suffer from the chromatic aberration, for this case, it is use to operate the mirror in optical system at various values

A UWB Monopole Antenna Design based RF Energy Harvesting Technology
...Show More Authors

Recently, wireless charging based RF harvesting has interfered our lives [1] significantly through the different applications including biomedical, military, IoT, RF energy harvesting, IT-care, and RFID technologies. Wirelessly powered low energy devices become significantly essential for a wide spectrum of sensing applications [1]. Such devices require for low energy resources from sunlight, mechanical vibration, thermal gradients, convection flows or other forms of harvestable energy [2]. One of the emerging power extraction resources based on passive devices is harvesting radio frequency (RF) signals powers [3]–[5]. Such applications need devices that can be organized in very large numbers, so, making separate node battery impractical.

Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting from Vortex-Induced Vibrations: Design and Correlations
...Show More Authors

This study delves into the design optimization of a hydropower harvesting system, exploring various parameters and their influence on system performance. By modifying the variables within the model to suit different flow conditions, a judiciously optimized design is attainable. Notably, the lift force generated is found to be intricately linked to the strategic interplay of the bluff body's location, cylinder dimensions, and flow velocity. The findings culminate in the establishment of empirical equations, one for lift force and another for displacement, based on the force equation. Many energy harvesting approaches hinge on the reciprocating motion inherent to the structural system. The methodology developed in this study emerges as a pot

Unity Sliding Mode Controller Design for Active Magnetic Bearings System
...Show More Authors

Active Magnetic Bearings (AMBs) are progressively being implemented in a wide variety of applications. Their exclusive appealing features make them suitable for solving traditional rotor-bearing problems using novel design approaches for rotating machinery.  In this paper, a linearized uncertain model of AMBs is utilized to develop a nonlinear sliding mode controller based on Lyapunov function for the electromechanical system. The controller requires measurements of the rotor displacements and their derivatives. Since the control law is discontinuous, the proposed controller can achieve a finite time regulation but with the drawback of the chattering problem. To reduce the effect of this problem, the gain of the uni

Space-Charge Effect on the Theoretical Design of Enzil Lens
...Show More Authors

The presentwork is a theoretical study in the field of charged particle optics. It concentrates on the design of electrostatic enzil lens for focusing charge particles beams, using inverse method in designingthe electrostatic lens. The paraxial ray equation was solved to obtain the trajectory of the particles, the optical properties such as the focal length and spherical and chromatic aberration coefficients were determined. The shape of the electrode of the electrostatic lens were determined by solving poison equation and the results showed low values of spherical and chromatic aberrations, which are considered as good criteria for good design.

Second Order Sliding Mode Controller Design for Pneumatic Artificial Muscle
...Show More Authors

In this paper, first and second order sliding mode controllers are designed for a single link robotic arm actuated by two Pneumatic Artificial Muscles (PAMs). A new mathematical model for the arm has been developed based on the model of large scale pneumatic muscle actuator model. Uncertainty in parameters has been presented and tested for the two controllers. The simulation results of the second-order sliding mode controller proves to have a low tracking error and chattering effect as compared to the first order one. The verification has been done by using MATLAB and Simulink software.
