Visual looting on the covers of international magazines
...Show More Authors

The strategy of designing the covers of international magazines emerges as one of the expressive means that reflect the emotional and expressive aspects and employ them according to the spatial transformations and the struggles of globalization to usurp the intellectual, cultural, value and civilizational essence of man, which makes him vulnerable to psychological and spiritual alienation and becomes the abstract meaning of identity and culture, and the empowerment of cultural invasion and the control of consumer thought The contemporary globalist on the largest area and the globalization of the peoples of the world, and the study came in the first chapter: the general framework that includes the problem of the research to raise in our mind the following question: (What is the alienation of the visual in the design of the covers of international magazines?), The importance of the research lies in the study of the features of cultural, religious, political and social expression In the covers of contemporary international magazines and making their global covers a visual message related to cultures and values of authenticity and civilizational race at the global level. The aim of the study was to identify visual usurpation in the covers of international magazines. Alienation through the design idea) with indicators, and the third chapter included procedures The research and how to choose the research community and analyze sample forms, and the most important conclusions:

1- International magazines raise topics that raise controversy towards political, cultural, religious, moral and aesthetic alienation, through design elements as visual alienation that raises ideas and questions in the imagination of the recipient and the reader.
2- The covers of international magazines seek to be a means of visually alienating their design content by supporting different aspects that contribute to strengthening the material presented towards a self-visual culture that competes with globalized perspectives.

The Effect of metals as additives on adhesion properties of epoxy resin
...Show More Authors

EP/ metal composites were prepared as adhesives between two steel rods. Epoxy resin (EP) was used as a matrix with metal as fillers (Al, Cu, Fe,).
The preparation method for tensile adhesion tests includes two steel rods with adhesive composites between the rods to measure adhesion strength Sad and adhesion toughness Gad.
Results of tensile adhesion tests show that EP/ metals composite have maximum strength Sad for certain weight percentage of metals 2.95 and 9MPa at 10% for EP/Al and EP/Cu composite and 8.2MPa at 40% for EP/Fe composites

The Effect of metals as Additives on Thermal conductivity of Epoxy Resin
...Show More Authors

A hand lay-up method was used to prepare Epoxy/ metal composites. Epoxy resin (EP) was used as a matrix with metal particles (Al, Cu, and Fe) as fillers.
The preparation method includes preparing square panels of composites with different weight percentage of fillers (10, 20, 30, 40, and 50%). Standard specimens (88mm in diameter) for thermal conductivity tests were prepared to measure thermal conductivity kexp. The result of experimental thermal conductivity kexp, for EP/metal composites show that, kexp increase with increasing weight percentage, For EP/ Al and EP/Cu composites, and it have have maximum values of 0.33 and 0.35 W/m.K, respectively. While kexp for EP/ Fe composite show slight increase with maximum value of 0.186 W/m.K.

Influence of cobalt substitution on the properties of Ni0.95-xCoxCu0.05Fe2O4 ferrite nanoparticles
...Show More Authors

Cobalt substituted nickel copper ferrite samples with general formula Ni0.95-xCoxCu0.05Fe2O4, where (x= 0.00, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04 and 0.05) were prepared by solid-state reactions method at 1373 K for 4h. The samples prepared were examined by X-ray diffraction (XRD(, atomic force microscope (AFM), Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR) and Vickers hardness. X-ray diffraction patterns confirm the formation of a single phase of cubic spinel structure in all the prepared samples . XRD analysis showed that the increase in the cobalt concentration causes an increase in the lattice constant, bulk density (ρm) and the x-ray density (ρx), whereas porosity (p) and crystallite size (D) decrease. The Topography of the surface observed

Effect of Cryogenic Treatment on the Properties of Low Carbon A858 Steel
...Show More Authors

This study is concerned with the effect of Deep Cryogenic Treatment (DCT) at liquid nitrogen temperature (-196 o C) on the mechanical properties and performance of low carbon steel (A858). The tests specimens were divided in to two groups, the first group was subjected to the conventional heat treatment of normalizing, and the second group was also normalized then subjected to (DCT). The results have shown that after (DCT), the Hardness, Tensile properties and the impact energy absorbed were all slightly increased. However the fatigue test showed some positive improvement in fatigue limit by 20(N/mm2 ), and the volume wear rates at different loads were significantly decreased after (DCT). The changes in microstructure due to (DCT) were c

Theoretical Study of The Heating Effect of Laser Radiations on SiUcaGlass Systems
...Show More Authors

A theoretical study has been proposed to investigate the effects of different laser radiations (Nd - glass, DF and C02) as a heating source on different glass samples (Optical glass, Bk - 7 and Soda - lime glass) and different waves lengths (10.6, 3.8, 1.6) ???. The heat changes as which are resulted due irradiation with laser sources have been determined by using the one dimension mathematical relation as a function of time (t) and depth (z). The results of the study show ed that the irradiation with C02 laser had a greater effect than DF laser, while the effects of Nd - glass laser were minimal with a power density of (1.8*10?? w/m2) within atime(l^sec).(Forboth Kinds) The change in the temperatures were not exceeded than (70"K) in all sa

Effect of Nanocomposites TiO2 addition on the Dielectric Properties of Epoxy resin
...Show More Authors

Sheets of Epoxy (EP) resin with addition of TiO2 of grain size (1.5μm, and 50nm) and weight percentage (1%, 3%, and 5%) were prepared. Discs of 20mm diameter and 3mm thickness were cut for dielectric measurements. Dielectric properties (dielectric constant, dispassion factor and electrical conductivity) over the frequency range 102 -106 Hz were measured.
Comparison was made between the effect of micro and nano particles of TiO2 on the dielectric properties of EP composites with different weight percentage. Epoxy composites with micro sized particles of TiO2 were observed to have the better values of dielectric properties.

Influence of Iron Filing Waste on the Performance of Warm Mix Asphalt
...Show More Authors

Recently, interest in the use of projectiles in research on recycling waste materials for construction applications has grown. Using recycled materials for the construction of asphalt concrete pavement, in the meantime, has become a topic of research due to its significant benefits, such as cost savings and reduced environmental impacts. This study reports on comprehensive experimental research conducted using a typical mechanical milling waste, iron filing waste (IFW), as an alternative fine aggregate for warm mix asphalt (WMA) for pavement wearing surface applications. A type of IFW from a local machine workshop was used to replace the conventional fine aggregate, fine natural sand (FNS), at percentages of 25%, 50% 75%, and 100% b
