The anatomic characteristics of the leaves of 22 taxa of Stachys L. representing seven of the currently recognized sections distributed in northern Iraq, were examined. Some biomarkers were measured as well as the percentage of the effect of certain risk factors in people with myocardial infarction and heart failure.
