This research dealt eith the effect of wars experienced bythe Iraqi people in the abroad Iraq women novels between 2003 – 2010, where this issye dominated on Iraqi women novels at this stage until it became the main subject that events revolved aroud in the novels of this stage.
The research also highlighted on the impact of continuous tough wars in human life and psyche, especially in the lives of women – and this is the privacy of feminist novel – where the Iraqi women novels focused on the impact of war on psychological of women and what it caused of misfortunes as women. Iraqi women have suffered from the bitterness of the loss caused by war as – any loss – a natural of her – the loss of father, son, husband, brother and lover - . Background: Frostbite is a cold weather injury characterized by tissue freezing. It can adversely impact military operations. This study was carried out to demonstrate the
frostbite among Iraqi -Iranian war.
Materials: The over surveillance period was 1st Dec. 1987 to 1st March 1988. A form was tilled for each affected soldier. All cases were followed till Dec. 1988.
Results: The reported frostbite cases were 10 000 cases. The rate was of 100 cases per 100 000 person - year. The foot was the most affected site. High frostbite cases were reported
during the active military operations.
Conclusion: Education, acclimatization and strict enforcement of cold weather injury preventive measures arc necessary in
phenomenon in the Arab women's contemporary literature, but it is rare in Iraqi women's
literature and falls short to the level of the phenomenon until now. Perhaps this is one of the
main reasons that caused the reluctance of researchers to study it, and this is probably the first
academic research in this field.

By measuring Adropin, fasting blood glucose (FBG), cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), triglycerides (TG), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), and very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) in the sera of Iraqi patients with MetS and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), the current study was designed to compare some crucial markers in metabolic syndrome (MetS) sera and diabetic patients (T2DM) with control. The paper is concerned with a linguistic analysis of the blurbs, used in advertising English and Arabic novels. A blurb is an advertising persuasive text, written on the back cover of a book. Blurbs of selected novels are chosen as representative examples. The selected blurbs belong to two languages, Arabic and English.
