Noun markers in Arabic

This study aims to show the markers of the Arabic noun(genitive, nun nation articles,
vocative, definite article and predication). These markers distinguish the noun from other
parts of sentence. It alsoaims at showing why these markers are peculiar to nouns.

Phonological Metathesis in Iraqi Arabic Dialect: A Synchronic Perspective

Phonological metathesis can be defined as an alternation in the normal sequence of two sounds under certain conditions. The present paper is intended to give a detailed synchronic description of phonological metathesis in Iraqi Arabic dialect. For data collection, the researchers have adopted two naturalistic techniques, viz., observation and notes taking. A synchronic analysis is carried out to provide some evidence that describe the sequential change of phonological metathesis in the dialect under investigation. Inflammatory markers mediated diabetic nephropathy in patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus

Background: Diabetic nephropathy (DN) represents the most common cause of end stage renal disease (ESRD) worldwide. Diabetic nephropathy occurs as a result of an interaction between hemodynamic and metabolic factors, however recent evidence shows an increase growing support for the notion that inflammation plays a key role in the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy.
Objectives: To speculate the role of IL-18 and TNF-α proinflammatory cytokines in the initiation and development of diabetic nephropathy in T1DM and T2DM.
