The current study examines the poetry) free verse( of African American Amanda Gorman in the light of the African diaspora concept, with a focus on themes of migration, African American identity, and cultural interactions. Additionally, the chosen poems discussed poets who resided in or outside of Africa, their native continent. The implementation of decentralization in Iraq was asymmetrical, leading to different forms and paces of implementation. Comparing four cases of Basra, Kirkuk, Nineveh, and Sulaymaniyah indicate that these cases differ in their political stability and autonomy in a way that led to a different forms of decentralization.
